This so great. So I have a group music class. I want to be spotlighted to the attendees only see me but I will like to be able to see gallery of all students. Is that what this video is showing?
Yes, if you spotlight yourself, you then can go to gallery view on your device and you will see all the students, while anyone still in speaker view will see you spotlighted. Hope that helps!
Is it possible to spotlight 4 speakers at once, and then quickly switch into gallery mode for Q/A? Is it possible to make it so that everyone sees gallery mode once, without having to direct them? Going to present to older audiences who might now know how to toggle their views themselves. Thanks!
Unfortunately, as of September 2024, you can't swap from speaker to gallery view as the producer/host. You'd have to direct attendees to go to gallery view on their laptops. You could remove all spotlights and then speaker view would automatically to follow the active speaker - the person asking a question and then the person answering, which is helpful for older audiences. Hope that helps!
thanks for your video....I have a question..when recording a Zoom meeting in Gallery view I can see everyone the entire time no matter who's speaking...BUT when I watch the recording ONLY the active speaker is visible ....How can I keep everyone visible when watching the recorded version in Cloud???? thanks for your time!!
Hi Barkan Method of Hot Yoga, the view that you're seeing on your computer doesn't impact (speaker vs. gallery view) the recording. If you'd like to capture both the speaker view and the gallery view, you'll need to check both of those boxes on your Zoom backend (zoom.us) under settings and then recording and select all of the cloud recording views. Hope that helps!
