For those curious, that jelly in tomatoes is a sprout inhibiting enzyme. The gooey seeds are placed in water and left for a few days, they ferment, and the "snot" breaks down. The seeds are then dried and ready for germination. In nature the ripe tomatoes fall on the ground, get flooded and covered and can sit dormant in the ground for a while and if they sprout in the winter they can die, and even if they all sprout like this they need to be thinned or they die. The natural way to reproduce pimps is to eat the delicious fruit, your stomach acid strips away the snot coating, the seeds accumulate in your diverticula and they come out the back end stuck to the side of one of your turds. When the rain hits it, the seeds get dispersed in a fertile area. Fun fact: The biggest healthiest most impressive tomato plants you will ever see can be found at your local sewer plant.

@@eLapseTime Thank you so much! What kind of camera do you use? What kind of video editing program do you use? How long have you been making time lapses?
@@eLapseTime What type of soil do you typically use? I've seen movement over time and I'm assuming it's mostly Springtails and Isopods. Do you use distilled water for the seeds that sprout in water? What do you do with the plants after you finish the time lapse?
Interesting video.
I do wish it was longer though. Like how long til they actually get big enough to produce cherry tomatoes?

Hey! If you're able to, I would love to ask you some questions about how you make your time lapses (as I want to make my own)! Please let me know!!

We're using Canon DSLR and Adobe Premiere Pro. About 4-5 years.
@@eLapseTime What is the plant's light source? I can't tell from the videos, most likely from good angles an all that lol
