not sure where u live have tram or not but i wonder how will FSD react on the road with trams? wanna see some test on that situation unlike buses that stop at the roadside; trams/ cable car are driving in the middle of the road on their own track and when people wanna get off the tram, the passengers might have blind-spot and cant see the incoming car that trying to cut over the trams as trams dont have stop sign on it like school buses do
Yes, eventually. I believe Tesla is going to have to make some hard decisions about HW3. They’ll provide a watered down version sometime in 2025, but it will be difficult for the team to do it. I believe the developers will complain a lot & force a hardware upgrade before FSD Unsupervised is fully achieved on AI4 or AI5. It will involve a hardware upgrade for HW3 cars, but even with that, the features and capability will be limited compared to AI4 and AI5. Can your iPhone X do the same things your iPhone 16 can do? A line has to be drawn somewhere. Behind closed doors, Tesla is weighing all of the options knowing lawsuits will come. I think one way to avoid or mitigate the cost of lawsuits is to, quote, “fall on the sword”, to maybe even provide a partial refund. Some people don’t feel like they were slighted at all believing their FSD purchase was more along the lines of supporting a kickstarter campaign.
For the first time the car actually read the 20mph sign. Unfortunately it was not during school hours and had to wait for the next speed increase to change. Fortunately, max speed came in and over road the 20mph speed. I keep getting hints of changes but no actual verifiable improvements.
The majority of cars are on hardware 3. The content is relevant. Thanks for your hard work.
Great vid and the fact that you are behind a student driver that is doing some odd things (5:08) is good context.
Great Video! nice car ! 💫
The ultimate school bus test is to approach the bus head on to see if the car stops for a deployed stop sign.
it doesn't. No test needed
Thanks for doing this.
School zones are s big deal. I pass through 3 of them on my drive and they are 20mph and are photo enforced.
The video looks incredibly stable. I was wondering if you might have replaced the suspension with one different from the original?
@@Gyeom89 I have not! Thanks.
love your channel.
Thanks for watching! 🙏

Do you think us hw3 owners will ever get v13?

Why not talk to the crossing guard about this? It would be better to set up a test crossing without children anyway.
Good idea.

FSD will stop if the crossing guard uses a hand held stop/go sign.
Fsd drives like a nut bar, because they modeled it on the average driver.
You should buy a stop sign and do some tests yourself!
Anyone who drives FSD a lot knows FSD doesn't support school zones and school busses. No need to try it.
