I just got finished looking at the Phillippine Acqua Private Residences AVP and I am convinced Chicago is truly behind in the international arena for high rise housing. Even with Trump Tower our structures are stiff, restrained and generally not innovative. The main reason we matter is because New York tends to build stupid real estate vs actual architecture with little concern for healthy design often. I am waiting for Miami style high rises to emerge on Chicago's Lakeshore drive.
