Absolutely! Great content. Just subscribed. Please make more scofield lessons. Can’t get enough of him. Great channel
@@khalilhabib9607 Thanks so much - I absolutely love his playing, so I'm sure there'll be something more in the pipeline!
I love the New Orleans Funk
Me too! 😍
Leo Nocentelli is THE MAN
100%!! 🙌🏼
You’re right, these licks are awesome, as your vid. Thanks to you, I’m a little more funky 😉
That's amazing - everyone needs to be a bit more funky!! 🕺🏻🎸🙌🏼
Hey Steve, the more I work your riffs, the more I love this format, lick+breakdown. Thanks for your help improving my skills 🙏
You're very welcome Rafa - glad to have helped! 💪🏻🎸
Dang! That Funked me up Bad.... Gotta get your book..
Ah yeah!!! Awesome! 😎🕺🏻🕺🏻🎸
Thanks!
Thanks Par! 🙏🏼
Great channel. Just ordered your book. Would like a deep dive on Bruce Conte or the one and only purple one. But all of this cats are cool and a lot to be picked up by each one.
That's great - thanks! Yeah I love BC - he was a big Jimmy Nolen fan, and I loved coming up with my own interpretations of TOP material . Hope you really enjoy the book 🙌🏼
Haha, I finished all licks, slowly comin’ in my fingers, but in the end, you reveal new stuff ! For the next vid ? 🤣 Thanks
😂 There's always more stuff to learn haha. Glad you've got through the licks 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Hi Steve! From one guitar teacher to another, I have to say that they were beautifully played and very well explained. :) I'm a bit of a newbie to very early funk, so these licks were really appreciated!
Very kind words Ainsley, thanks so much! Glad you found it useful 🙏🏼
Really great stuff!
Thanks very much! 🙏🏼🙌🏼
Plenty of interesting material, very well explained in this lesson, not only for Funk Guitar. Thanks a lot.!
Thanks Etienne - really appreciate the feedback - glad you found it interesting!
Faz um vídeo mostrando algumas possibilidades pra improvisar na música FRED - ALLAN HOLSWORTH.
Great tune - for sure, one for a future video!
great videos. can you tell us your settings to get this twangy sound with the humbuckers
Cheers Viz - glad you enjoyed them! It's a classic middle position on the 335, loads of RnB and Funk/Soul players did this in the 60s, then straight into a Fender Deluxe Reverb (about 4-5 so just starting to break up), no EQ or compression. Have a look on the details section, there's some more info there. Thanks for watching!
