Not so true! I know a lot of people with even a lot of money who hate homeless people and see them as junks and so on. Not all people are like Ginger the angel.
My grandma saw a homeless guy and after passing him for one week she asked him why he was living on the street he said his aunt kicked him out her house he have no where to go his mom was away.....my grandma took him off the street to live with her... everyone was upset .....after some months she got contact with his mother in the US and two years later he went to meet his mom....his mom was sending money every month to support her son and her sister and they was not doing it...she didn't even know he was on the streets ....it ended up a blessing for my grandma and her whole family....
Realising you're doing something wrong, stopping and saying NO, THIS HAS TO CHANGE is, to me, one of the most admirable things that a person can do. Props to her
she did something good for one person... she didn't know the story behind... why did she change and what reason was it for... was for being better person or something more selfish??? i am one who will help people in need and i have done it, even when i could of been kick thrown out... i took the risk in fact the property manager... that used to work here... said i had golden heart. the young lady i help with her baby.. took in... also stated that i do a lot for others before myself. I have also had to put my foot down with my ex. and asking for money all the time. personally i don't have money anyways on me so trying to save.
This was a nice thing to do for another person. Hopefully you never become homeless or hungry. It's really scary out there in this world. I'm glad this man got some help.
When he said why he was homeless, my eyes welled up.🥺 I'll never understand how anyone can abandon a child. When the Lord called upon her to reach out to this sweet man, the response was absolutely beautiful! 💙🙏🏻💜
This is literally what i want to do sometimes with homeless people. I actually i did do this once with a homeless girl! I brought her to my home and turned out she was really crazy and she had to go! she went off on me for trying to get her help I offered her to stay in my place till we got her in a program but she wanted to continue being an alcoholic. I'm glad this man was willing to work and I would love to help someone who wants to be helped!. God bless this woman and her husband ❤
Yes, unfortunately some homeless people are crazy and liars. I bought a homeless young girl (looked around 20) dinner and she said she was trying to get back home which was about an hour away (fishing for money) I told her I would happily give her a ride as I didn't have anything to do that evening anyway. She starts stuttering and quickly changed the subject. She looked very annoyed as she walked away from me, no doubt because I didn't give her money.
Most homeless people are homeless for a reason. Drugs , felonies, or mental disorders. I always give them food because I know if I gave them money, they're on their way to get drugs. I would never invite them into my home. Too many things could go wrong.
I appreciate how honest she was about being rude. Most people are but don't admit it. She did and she changed for the better. She saved someone's life.
So glad she came around I used to make food bags and hand them out I took the time to talk to some of the people I encountered and not all of them were addicts or alcoholics I really despise people that stigmatize and judge when they have no clue whatsoever about that person’s circumstances.
This is exactly what Christ asks of us. Stepping outside our comfort zones to care for those in need. Bless you Ginger for taking this gentleman under your wing. I can't imagine the pain he's suffered being abandoned. God bless. Matthew 25:40 The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'
It is so many homeless people in Houston. I definitely felt compelled a few times. I bought food for homeless people and like she did build relationships with many.
U never know which one of those ppl will turn their life around and meet u later in life. U might feel ur helping them at first, but they are unconsiously helping you to be a better person.
