My favorite song from my favorite band! True story cover song about the 1927 Mississippi flood. The drums and Harmonica are FIRE from Heaven. Now you have truly been blessed by the rock gods themselves Sceez ! More Zeppelin please
True. Delta blues influence. Dirty. It's like opening a box of chocolates; you never know what you going to get. I think about Hurricane Katrina when I hear this song, the it makes me sad.
I absolutely love seeing young black Americans discovering the music that their ancestors, the original blues masters, created. Zeppelin idolized and emulated their musical heroes.
Another song that shows off their talents and versatility is "Since I've Been Loving You" from their Led Zeppelin III album. It drips with blues sauce. One of my favs. Check it out!
There's somebody else going crazy too, a young Robert Plant blowing out those haunting licks on that harmonica. How can one band be possessed with this much talent???? I think the harmonica and the drums carry the rythym on this song. LZ was active for 12 years, disbanding when John Bonham, the drummer, passed in 1980 from pulmonary aspiration from excessive alcohol consumption. If u r a fan, be sure to check out their 2012 tribute at the Kennedy Center in which Jason Bonham, John Bonhams son, played drums and Ann Wilson (Heart) was the lead vocal (The best tribute I have ever seen in my 65 years of life). I enjoyed your reaction, TY.
I was 12...my dad sat me on the floor in front of the stereo and put these giant headphones on me. This is what poured through my ears...I was hooked for sure after that. Miss ya dad.
Indeed one of the most complex, surprising, mind blowing and puzzling songs they so effortlessly produced... OMG. They're still the fuckin' Goat, aren't they? ❤Love that you love them.
I'm so glad I found you! I love watching you react to my beloved hippie tunes!! Great memories of listening to Zeppelin in a friend's smoke filled basement! Good times!
One of my favorite songs by LZ. Unfortunately it's flooding here in central California and some levees did break; bracing for more storms. Next you need to do their song "In My Time of Dying"; another banger.
As an older dude that likes all kinds of music. I can still say music from bands like Zep in that Era... Much has been lost since then in the way of soul and pure musicianship . . And especially lyrics that I have found much wisdom in. I guess not having all these technical corrections keeps you sharper and searching in creative ways in music. It makes me happy to see younger people experiencing this for the first time all baked and feeling it. Check out ...Time from Pink Floyd. Thanks for the smiles watching your genuine love of music.
Fun fact: The beat of this was sampled by the Beastie Boys for their song "Rhymin' and Stealing". And btw the guitar riff in Rhymin'... is from Black Sabbath's "Sweat leaf" 😉
Love the new guitar mate. Those drums man, they're so killer. You wouldn't be the first that couldn't pay attention to the lyrics first time through. Love the spirit man, keep up the good stuff
I came across your channel a few weeks ago and subscribed I'm pretty sure I've seen this but maybe I haven't? Either way man love your actions. I'm a musician I played in lots of bands I'm a 60 year old white dude basically but I'm not your normal person. But anyway I love the stuff and it's hilarious the way you approach this. It really is. I love that you play air guitar except you actually make a broom guitar and you have the ability to realize that a strangest broke, laugh. Love it. But anyway this is early on and I forgot to get the time stamp and now I can't get it now that I'm in comet mode, but anyway it's shortly and it's when you're talking about how suddenly you're surprised when the voice came in. You were like oh yeah man I totally forgot they had lyrics! And yeah that's completely affected it has it really does if you immerse yourself in the texture of it and then it hits. I'm really glad you pointed that out.
Sceez, if you havnt reacted to KASHMIR by Zeppelin yet, please do. Celebration day Live concert. I did a search for a reaction to it from you and it did not show up. It is a masterpiece. Though most of the songs are, there is just something special about Kashmir. I have watched alot of reactions to the celebration day live one, so it must be getting through okay. Robert is 60 years old but I want you to see he still killed it. John Bonhams son plays the drums at that concert since John passed away. The other three originals are there.
A little Led for your head
YEAH
It puts you in a good place
My favorite song from my favorite band! True story cover song about the 1927 Mississippi flood. The drums and Harmonica are FIRE from Heaven. Now you have truly been blessed by the rock gods themselves Sceez ! More Zeppelin please
The original was Kansas Joe McCoy and Memphis Minnie, lyrics are added but Zep did the original justice.
The harmonica is off the chain!!!!!!
That's Robert!!
This is the blues pumped 100,000 times!
True. Delta blues influence. Dirty.

with Zep it is always 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤🔥❤🔥

Jimmy Paige was actually heavily influenced by Sister Rosetta Thorpe
@@yankees29Plant names off blues artist he’s loved as a kid, like they’re his family members, & I’m talking distant family too.
Nastiest harmonica in rock!
Considered the best rock band ever, but they also could play the blues like nobody’s business
One of the most sampled beats ever
Beastie boys!!
Zeppelin is the rhythm kings

Besides his amazing vocals, damn he can play that harmonica so beautiful too.

"Going to Chicago." Very appropriate with the Bulls shorts and White Sox cap.
Lol I'm in Chicago too!
EVERY SONG IS A BANGER!!
Indeed one of the most complex, surprising, mind blowing and puzzling songs they so effortlessly produced... OMG. They're still the fuckin' Goat, aren't they? ❤Love that you love them.
I have played many a broom, as well as a rake or two, yours looks like a nice one...I like the tone 😊
It makes you feel.
Seen them in the KingDome in Seattle in 78, awesome live!

My mom loved this band.

YOU ARE ON FIRE TONIGHT!! 🔥🔥🔥
I think you are correct. Tat slow, rocky blues. Nobody does it so good. its heavy. Zeppelin and maybe Black Sabbath.

Kashmir studio version is a must!
My favorite version is from the 2007 Celebration Day Concert held in London's O2 Arena. The late John Bonham's son, Jason, plays drums and kills it!
listen to all of Led Zepplin 2, enjoyed your video.
Love some Zedd. Awesome band and reaction ❤️

The Beastie Boys sample this on their licensed to ill
You Youngblood have been deprived never hearing some of the best music from the 60’s-70’s

Sceez-you gotta do some hamstring exercises. Your hammies are as skinny as that guitar you play. 🤣🤣
