Yeah I know what it’s like with so many reviewers saying this and that. Fair play to Doody he’s down to earth no bull just straight up how he finds it. I can honestly say this is a fantastic piece of Spyderco work the blade holds that edge like it’s a woman holding on to her handbag collection lol.
My Para2 in Maxamet has been flawless for two years now. My favorite knife thus far. I did a 17 degree initial sharpening on my KME with diamond stones and have only had to strop it ever since. Great vid!

Would love to see the battle test. Be really cool to see if you could maybe have same materials with similar geometry for each cut, give or take and see which one cuts paper last. I wished I had spent the money and got a 15v seconds. It was there to buy. Just never bought a seconds knife so was hesitant.

The native 5 is tied with the Sage 1 as my all time favorite Spyderco! I’ve been lucky enough to have 3 Native 5’s through some awesome trades! The Maxamet version is a total keeper!
Gotta have a big cutoff 1day with all the top steel and get a true champ. I know its hard with different edges and things like that but would b fun and really interesting to watch. Great video brother.

Heck yeah , maxamet. I didn’t like sharpening the deka magnacut . Took 3 sharpenings to get to good steel . Just from experience with other steels it doesn’t seem what it s supposed to be . Just an opinion .
And the native chief of awesome. I have the c/f s90v and the orange xhp versions. Just sharing 👍🏻 some guy on another comment section asked me for receipts when I had mentioned I had 117 Spyderco’s. Actually said he’d give me $100. If I post a video. Is it that hard too believe someone has that many knives? 🤷♂️ I’m sure there are people with LOTS more then I have. ✌🏼
@@doodysdaggers A few years ago I was out of work, dumped my IRA 🫣. Bought a bunch then started working again making good money and would order a knife or 2 a week. I don’t think it was the worst idea, but didn’t have too. And I can always sell a bunch in the future 🤷♂️✌🏼

A worker hired to tear up cardboard doesn't buy a Spyderco. Spyderco is purchased by a snob who is afraid to use it, lest he accidentally cut the super steel. The rest of humanity exterminates 440B without thinking about whether they are doing something according to the art of knife masturbators. And they are alive too. 
Be aware that with Spyderco, if you need a 50 cent bushing for your knife pivot, you will have to send your knife back (paying shipping both ways) and pay to have it replaced. They will not simply ship you the part you need. I have a Domino with the paper thin cheap bushing that fails and it will cost me $30 to fix a $1 worth in parts. Their customer service is crap! They never took responsibility for the shit design of the Domino's bearing and bushing.
Cool test on a classic. Personally like FRN and back locks but I realize that’s weird nowadays. Instead of 15v comparison, how about k390? It’s a lot easier to get.

Well, I only have like a dozen other knives. The starters. Kershaw, a bugout and some buck style knives. I’m just a SpyderHoe. 😄👍🏻
