I think this video HAS to happen. We need all those idiots complaining about Tess throwing her vote in Ep. 3 to be humbled. If Tess had voted for Ellie in that episode, she'd have seen Gabby's wrath much sooner, as seen from this episode.
The only reason Gabby chose Tess in this elimination, was because she saw Tess' betrayal of Ellie to be a direct attack, since Tom and Aiden both expressed consistent dislike toward Ellie, Gabby understood why they voted for her, however Tess was supposed to be Ellie's friend, which made Tess voting for Ellie that much more of a betrayal, and why Gabby prioritized her over Tom and Aiden.

Girl please, Jake dismissing Tom was just stupid. Just like @aices147 said, he wanted to talk to Tom this whole time. I get that during the challenge it wasn't quite smart, but Jake could've just said, he wants to talk later. This is exactly the type of behaviour from Jake that annoyed me in season 1.

6:50 I've also noticed the "inconsistency" with Riya's character due to how nice she was in early to mid season 2, so I've come to think that she didn't watch season 1 before she parctipated in season 2, but only after it(probably when she was informed about the new All stars season so she can know how to approach the season 1 contestants)

I would say a more improved version of Miriam on how Miriam should be getting on Jake more like this instead of being overprotective that could be enabling Jake instead. That said, despite the possible enabling, it isn’t Miriam’s on Jake has been treating others, like Aiden and Ally.

Unlike Riya, I think Gabby needs to be inconsistent, since she has an evil side that tells her what to do, but at the same time she doesn't want to listen to it. It's funny how she's nice and then he explodes and gets angry.

Yeah exactly. She even stated earlier in the episode that Ellie was able to help her evil side and that’s why we didn’t see it and people complained about the lack of it in the early season. Now it’s coming back out and people are upset about it. Just can’t please everyone.
Yes and no. She may act inconsistent but should be written with the same consistency. If you want to show us her conflicting internal struggles, actually show it to us. Bring back evil Gabby to show us she's not just randomly deciding to flip on her team

@@SillyBillyDucky she's not "randomly" deciding to flip on her team. Her team just voted off her girlfriend that desperately needed the money. Of course she's gonna be mad at them, especially at Tess, who Gabby thought was Ellie's friend
I just realized something. This would have been the perfect chance for the villains to take out the strongest player being Tom. They could’ve pretended to vote with gabby but instead vote for Tom. It would be 1 vote Tess, 3 votes Riya and 4 votes Tom. Once Tom leaves Aiden and Tess would vote off gabby if they lose again or the villains could try to convince gabby to join them
Yeah for how many smart players there are in that group this seems like a major oversight. I think it should have been mentioned at least. But I’m guessing they want to work with Gabby long term? If they betrayed gabby here and the teams merged they would need gabby just to ensure a tie, so maybe it’s better to just do what gabby says until they have a majority.
@@TheGreatDetectiveKnows I suppose so but it’s still a big risk. If the merge isn’t next episode and cyan loses again gabby is gone so they lose their new member. Besides we know that Alec is good at getting people who don’t like him to join him, that’s how he convinced Ellie to join him and fiore

While Tom is a comp threat, keeping him around is beneficial for a few reasons. One is pulling in a new number with Gabby, who wanted Tess (due to feeling betrayed by her more) out. While Tom can win challenges, keeping him around for that could enable who they may wanted target more once merge hits, which Ashley. While things seem like 5/5, Jake can likely get easily exploited and the easier way to do that is keep his ex around until they secure the number to kick out and Gabby out later.

I’m afraid for Gabby, because it seems that if she continues to be in the competition, her mental health will decline, it’s already at a bad point currently, because Ellie was eliminated and she can’t process that it was the best option to do.

I’m so glad magenta team survived this round, I’ve developed a soft spot for them. Ashley going off on Jake was so satisfying, I hope she doesn’t give up on him. Did you see how happy Ashley was that Ellie was eliminated, after being all buddy buddy with her in episode 1? I knew Ashley wanted revenge against Ellie, now only Alec and Gabby remain in her hit list.
Jake is finally a team player the exact moment Tom want to talk to him, good on Jake for not getting distracted now but how will he react if he’s told he’s been lied to?
Damn I think Alec might be worse than Yul, if Alec’s kid stepped on glass on a sand box and not the beach then why didn’t he have shoes on? Neglectful!! I wish Rosa Maria was here to give him a piece of her mind.
If I were to predict something for the next episode it would be that Tom and Aiden go to magenta’s camp to tell them that Tess was eliminated and that they have to work together against the 5 villains, but drama with Tom and Jake ensues. As for the staff member cheating, I’d be surprised if it isn’t Emily.
THIS EPISODE WAS INSANE!!! Probably one of the spiciest episodes by far and I loved it!
At 6:45 when Riya said that she looked up to Grett in S1 I understood that as she watched S1 AFTER S2 and her FURTHER behaviour of not giving shit what anyone thinks of her. She could have done that before but as you said, it wouldn't make sense. I see this that way, Riya was after a loss during her season (or before S3 looking for some intel on other contestants which she had no way knowing) and decided to watch it and she saw how Grett was behaving, she was interested how cunning she was from the start and how she operated on weaknesses of others (mostly Toms, Jakes and Gabbys) not knowing that after that Grett decided to change. We know she met Yul after his season so it gives Grett 1 year of being alone with her 'fake' life so we can assume that loneliness took its tool on Grett and the littlest amount of Yuls attention brought her the biggest joy and now she's afraid of losing it and reverting to the previous stage when she was "living a lie". So I wouldn't call that inconsistency but simply incorrect way of expressing intent of the story.
I don't know, is it origianally written (thought) in spanish and then translated to english? That could explain imperfection of the details, I can't check it myself, I can't speak spanish. Either way, as much as I can see why Riya's character design and development is questionable this is not necessarily one of this time when her story doesn't add up.

6:50 I just wanna point out to you Silly Billy that this interaction DOES make sense, as both irl and in the Disventure Camp world Season 1 was released AFTER Season 2 because of the legal problems Derek and Trevor caused, which means that most of the season 2 characters who did watch season 1 watched it on the same year their own season was released, meaning Riya saw Grett and her behavior after becoming the Riya she already is
Is that true? In season 2 Aiden says that Oliver looks familiar and he explains that he was an intern or something..

I know that this was 2 weeks ago, but let me make it clear: at the time DC2 started airing, the beta version of S1 (Adventure Camp) was still considered canon even if taken down. So I don't think that they had a S1 remake planned... that could cause a few plotholes, but yeah, since even Kristal didn't get to watch S1, I'm pretty sure it didn't air before S2.
But honestly I think it would make sense for pre-twist Riya to look up to Grett, as she was insecure at the time, and it's normal that by seeing Grett on screen she would be inspired to be more confident.

Tess’ elimination was definitely a surprise for me, but in hindsight makes sense as she is pretty much the Rosa of season 3, all support.

Gabby is not being as inconsistent as riya because as she said in the morning when she was speaking with tess when she is alone she has bad thoughts both of the scenes were she acts like a villain trying to get revenge are when she is alone

While Ellie got eliminated last episode, I realized something that questions me about Ellie with how she describes winning the money. Notably, in the finale and her elimination this episode, she describes as winning the money would fix her life. Even with someone financially struggling, that is a very peculiar way for someone to need money in that context. Either, Ellie is in deeper financial debt that she letting on or something is very broken with Ellie that using money to fix whatever situation she is in may make her situation actually worse and not better.

i expect soon that the players at the motel participate in a challenge to come back, so we might see ep 10 being the comeback episode, and in episode 11 we get back to camp tipiskaw with the merge, the most likely tho is that ep 10 will be with another team challenge but Krital announces that this challenge is the last team challenge before the merge, then in ep 11 we see the comeback episode following with ep 12 when we get back at the camp
People are saying due the current 10/8 split of remaining campers to eliminees, like it was 5/3 in the S2 and remake. That said. I could merge happening in episode 11 (more of the halfway point of this 21 episode season). In addition, I could merge happening at 9 when half the campers remaining plus how the original teams plot being with 4-3-2 or, like beta, each team losing half of its original members before merge hits. We should get more indication when the episode 10 trailer hit.
@@Yoshixandirif they are going to give a past idol holder a totem again, it is likely going to Tom to finally play correctly or doesn’t vote himself off (beta) as a result of playing a totem as the person set to get eliminated (which was Jake in beta and the beta totem was a “super-idol” (an early version of the immunity idol in Survivor) where it could be played after the votes were read.

the sense between tess's elimination is that in ellie's elimination tess betrayed ellie when ellie was her rl friend so gabby did the same for her too

Riya could still look up to Grett in that season. Doesn't necessarily mean that she wanted to do it the same way in the beginning of her season. And it wasn't necessarily about cheating but not taking shit from anyone and putting herself first no matter what.

It’s a bad move eliminating Tess but makes sense in character for Gabby, we know she’s a vengeful character and she does hold a grudge, especially when her alter ego /villain side comes out

I actually think Gabby voting out Tess makes a lot of sense. Tess' vote for Ellie did hurt Gabby (and Ellie) more than Aiden and Tom's votes, both of whom they already saw coming a mile away, so Gabby ultimately voting Tess out of all people was probably to both avenge Ellie and so that Ellie would have a friend at the Losers' Motel after she and Tess reconciles there, because be honest... do y'all see Aiden or Tom checking up on Ellie after everything she did to both of them...? :P
So, as a new villain (but still friend), Gabby actually played smart here; she got back at Tess for voting Ellie out (even though it was for Ellie's (and Gabby's) own good) AND looked out for Ellie at the same time by sending her closest (platonic) friend to keep her company.

I dont get why aiden is mad at jake in the space challenege, jake literally just did the exact same thing that aiden did to him in thr beach challenge. Jake even said a similar phrase that aiden said to him
I can see the strategy behind voting off Tess. Very likely, the next episode will be them merging at 10 players with five players apart of the Villains alliance against the remaining five. Tess absolutely would have acted as a unifying figure for that group. Instead we have Jake who will likely cause drama between Ally, Aiden, and Tom with Ashley having to do the heavy lifting to keep them working together.
If they don't merge and Cyan lost, it wouldn't matter who Gabby voted for since she would be at the bottom of her tribe. Voting off any of the Cyan members this round would leave the remaining two to vote Gabby off. If she had voted with Cyan and took out Riya, she would have to hope Tom doesn't vote with Aiden since it's very likely Aiden would target Gabby.

When you reference Riya talking about wanting to "play fair" in early s2, it's worth remembering she was acting that entire time infront of the cameras to appear harmless. She's always had this current attitude, so I think it'd make sense she'd look up to someone (s1 grett) who had a similar dsisposition.
Nope, sorry, I'm not buying it. There is no reason for Riya to also act harmless in front of the cameras or in confessionals. She can definitely pretend when other characters are nearby (like Yul is doing with Grett), but Riya benefits nothing from fooling the audience.
@@SillyBillyDucky I always took it as her trying to fool the audience so that she could get recognized for her acting by future employers since she was struggling so much before. Wasn't her whole reason of getting on the show to reach a larger audience?
