This guide is helping me so much, thank you! I'm at lvl 77 and still having trouble defeating Territorial Rothbart, but someday I'll have my revenge on him for killing me so much earlier in the game xD
I never had any problems with Territorial Rothbart early on in the game. He never killed me. And I just beat him while everyone on my party was on level 74 and 75
He recommended fighting the territorial rotbart for grinding from level 75 to 82 and also recommended fighting some tirkins called Reeg Tirkins in Tantal but I can’t get them to spawn for some reason. Is this happening to anyone else or can someone please help me find out how to spawn them? Thanks
omg thank you for this vid and so happy I found it. im starting this game for the very first time and im stuck at level 50 all around. this was a very helpful guide tyy :)
There are two types of people who clicked the video: The first type that actually wanted to get to level 99 And then the type that just wants to know where you got the Thumbnail
Maiyu I’m am one of those who wanted to know how to get to level 99 but after seeing this comment and taking a look at the thumbnail...I WANT TO KNOW TO 😤
Once you get the true 4th character (not the temporary 4th) you can start power leveling About lv 45 you can equip agility accessories and chips to katanas and go to uraya, vampire lady nest and go for the mobs there (not the boss yet) they're lv60+ but you can take them as long as your tank doesn't die. After reaching 50, 55 recommended, you can start taking vampire lady itself. There can get up to 60+. Next easily go to 65+ with the bat in gormott. At this point using the same strategy you are able to beat dinos in temperantia which will rocket you to 80+ easily.
For those after me: I followed this guide religiously! Was amazing, thanks Wargasmic!! However, I used Nia as a blade while doing this and didn't realize she DOES NOT level with your party if she's a blade... fortunately I was already level 70+ after beating game and got her around lvl 80 while doing Poppi's 3rd form quest.
It would be nice for New Game+ to let us keep Vandham and Jin in the party and use Malos as a blade. (Using Alvis as well would be cool because then we would have three Monado’s)
Also another word of advice, don't be afraid to challenge higher-level monsters. It's possible to defeat them as long as you have good pouch items and accessories equipped. If you check out the comments, many instances of as low as level 70 defeating superbosses. That's basically right after the end boss.
That would've been so nice to have when I played the game. Everybody always used to say "just do side quests!" And I'd get frustrated because I wanted to level up so I could do more side quests. Lol Same with XCX.
I found that the huge Sammel Squood that spawn in Tantal during ether fog (88-90) was the fastest way for me to get from around 80 to 99. With no modifyers they give around 6000 exp each, but if you were vigilant at buying deeds, you can easily bump it up quite a lot to at least 40% bonus exp. And since they are basicly normal enemies, they aren't that hard to kill, but you need to have ether fog for them to spawn...
Doing side quests and running merc missions got me to level 64 just playing the game. But now it's time to grind levels. I'm only in chapter 8 but I like being over leveled in rpgs. Lol
I know another good place for level grinding between 75-85 is right beside the old factory in Mor Ardain with the level 80+ enemies. You can also get some good Aux Cores and Chips as well!
Some of the lower levels of the World Tree, certain spots in Temperentia, Tantal and Morytha Cliffs, and the Land of Morytha. You can get 0-battle course +s from Temperentia from the level 60 Zeoth Serpronds which will boost experience by 50% making farming easier. They’ll also drop the Gold Chip too! Hope it helps
Damn the thumbnail... haha you got me. It was what I was expecting as the ending but nope, they just cut it right off when Rex was walking up to Pyra and Mythra. Left me hanging there MonolithSoft. I’d need a dlc for this 😅
Im 3 months late, but you're best option would be to try to lure the mobs and kill them first by doing the down d-pad button. That'll hopefully attract the mobs and get them separate. It'll take more time but will be safer that way. That's one thing I dislike is that bosses aren't too much of an issue, it's getting hoarded by weaker enemies.
I was level 70 by the time I fought Aion the first time. I'm on my to Cliffs of Morytha in NG+. I likely won't worry about reaching level 99 until I kill Aion again in NG+.
My main grinding up until around 80 was just fighting story bosses and doing side quests, and after that I mostly just fought superbosses, especially cloud sea king ken
Just to note. if you are tired of the Trex enemies in Temprentia it is possible to beat the reeking douglas at around level 85. which is the level i beat it at.
Just found this video. I was looking for post level 85 leveling tips. Right now I'm just gathering whatever XP I get from doing the personal quests for the various blades in my party.
for those people still playing xenoblade, keep in mind you can grind superbosses from level 70+ provided you have decent setups, i've been grinding cloud sea king ken since around level 75 i wanna say
4:13 I'm not gonna act like it was super easy, but i started farming the Reeking Douglas at level 75/76. It definitely required..... "precision" and a LOT of failed attempts to figure out how to not die every time, but I can kill him in about 6-7 minutes and he gives, at least currently, 1.5 levels per kill
At 2:40 he talks about grinding on the boss, but whoever you die it takes you back to the title screen, so dosent that mean your progress doesn’t save?
I have to thank you for all your guides. I been into the game 240 hours now in my final stretch 91 - 99. I was wondering if you will ever do a video on bare necessities to bring into game plus. I have been at it 220 hours in prep and would like to sell almost all items obtained except essentials for bosses, farming, luck and others. Any recommendations or maybe a idea. Thanks again for all your hard work and great explanations.
honestly, my best farming spot at sauron's bed.. around lvl 50+ i can beat him and level up easily.. all you need is mythra with good build.. nia, and morag..
is there a place you could suggest for mid game players to get from 55-65? im nowhere near being capable of taking down vampire bride marion and i just hit the level 55 mark. im currently trying to level up a bit more to beat jin and malos just before the ophion fight
I'm currently lvl 77 at the Lv72-82 - 3:16 part but the turkins aren't spawning anymore is it a bug or how do I get them to spawn again I tried saving and exiting but that didn't work
I used Reaking Douglas as a way to grind core crystals in my mid-80s. but only because I could seal away his reinforcements move. If his buddies came to help out I had to run away from the battle because I couldn't handle it at that level.
I cheesed the hell out of the game to level, @~48 Aquatic Slayer on Poppi Special I to kill the lvl 60-62 Serprond on Temperantia, you can easily do this till 60-65 (Also good for gold chips to boost your party at that point in the game) @~68 Beast Slayer on Poppi Special I to farm the Deimos Sauros on Temperantia, I did this till 99, it's probably faster to do something else from 95-99 though. You might die a few times on the first few attempts because you still get one shot by the enemies but once you get a few levels it's really easy. Hope this might help some people
The Slayer skills can proc their chance on each hit during the appropriate special. So aslong as you use the correct special, in my initial case Special I, you should be able to kill the monster most of 2-3 specials most of the time.
You can do this, but being able to craft the appropriate slayer mod you need is a bit more consistent than getting a common blade with the correct slayer skill. But if you have one it's definitely better.
This game animation may be a little bad but the thing I focus on is the *plot*....and characters..it's just a masterpiece, I prefer this game than anime and if people offer me another 900 chapters I'd pay him as much as he want or she
Lol, don't assume the first game isn't also deep and emotional. I consider it much deeper in a philosophical way, and the better writing makes it far more emotional IMO. I totally respect your opinion, but if you've not played both, you really should check out the first one.
I had to level grind over level 70 in order to beat the final boss because in his last source of HP, this guy performs a cheap move that can break the damage limit and it was game over.
Personally, I started farming the lvl 90ish T-Rexes in Temperantia, finishing with a chain attack (which increases the exp gained) for all of levels 70-99
bruh im level 74 and i got completely demolished by the queen arachno and her babies... It could have been because im scared of spiders and tried to run away.
You should post a build guide for your characters. Mine still get rekt pretty hard even at level 89 against the Reeking Douglas... I don't use Tora because screw that stupid mini game. Everyone still has gold chips on them right now, but I guess I should change that.
Yes but how exactly are you supposed to actually kill them? What accessories and cores are you supposed to use? I keep seeing videos of people doing 999999 damage but then I'm taking 3 minutes to kill a level 30 named monster at level 68
I can't beat whatshisface monsterman after mister katana man in the giant tree before the "final boss." At level 63-65 or so, he can one shot everyone save for my tanks with his party-wide justice laser thing that hits the whole party. So where should I go farm then?
kirika119 I used Rex, Morag, and Zeke. What I recommend is not to use any chain attacks until you get at least 4 elements orbs. Once you do, use a chain attack. Try to ignore the enemies that he spawns in the second phase. Hope it helps!
honestly, I was at level 63 and the second to last boss was one shotting tora after his tentacle attack when enraged so I had to grind up to 65 just to kill him, That's why I'm a little hesitant about going to the last boss.
