@@MichaelReyy that’s the way I feel about many of her televised live performances, including the ‘Didn’t we almost’ video and welcome home heroes concert. The audios are so condensed with no reverb at all. Even the tracks on her live album, you’d think they would’ve at least bothered to remaster them.
I agree 100% i always said 88’s voice is my favorite of all. It has a little bit of every era mixed in it.

I love how people wanna compare people who cover Whitney and can sing the song good enough for a cover. But, if this performance doesn't show you her pure talent nothing will. A lot of people who record sound amazing on record but live don't quite make it. Whitney before she was sick could sing and it's was just perfect. We lost an amazing talented woman when Whitney died.

I remember watching this performance at the time & being absolutely blown away. All these years later I’m still in awe of the power of Whitney & the joy she brings me to this day. There will never be another voice, another icon like Whitney.

Many thanks for posting this. I grew up in the 80s and after watching the performance of a couple of female artistes at the recent Grammys, I just needed to be reminded of what a true class act by a female artiste looked like when class was actually valued.
She was so beautiful and had such a beautiful and powerful voice and rythme ! She could make a whole audience wanting to dance!!
