Everyone seems to be blinded by nostalgia. The new sets interior is a lot more lively and full not to mention the accuracy of the design on the exterior.
2024's exterior looks phenomenal but the drawback is still the stupid looking stormtrooper. 2014's iteration in terms of figures is just way more superior with the detailing that we no longer get
Actually the 2014 looks better to me; it has more accurate proportions-the 2024 one almost looks chibi scale. Also, the shaping of the raised area of the 2014 is more accurate if you compare it to source material.
@@23_mihaa It's actually all about nostalgia. Although I like the new molds too, I just prefer the older ones, especially when it comes to stormtroopers' ones.
@@Brick-Fit Hey bud I decided to rebuild my broken snoke star destroyer after so long to help me decide and man after getting all the dust off and trying to mimic the end result cause I was too lazy to do it all again I got left with such a sleek and nice ship. I can't see myself wanting another star destroyer so pelican it is.
@@zvvv8792 Just a tip, shop around for the pelican, the price varies like crazy in different places. I think I've seen it 50% off in some places and over RRP in others, but if you look you should be able to find a good deal
The reason why 6 studs is significant is because you are suppose to measure from the back and not the front. For every stud longer means it gets wider at the wide end based on a triangle shape.

@@kingbooomer9231 I actually like the new stormtroopers. I know that's a hot take tho.
They perfected the Stormtrooper helmet in 2016, they should never have changed it.
I got the 2014 one just new for 120$, recelling will go CRAZYYY 🤑 (in a few years)
Anyone else more of a fan of the old Vader and Stormtrooper helmet molds?
Here!
Storm trooper eh ok but Vader nah

I like the newer Vader helmet better but the 2014 stormtroopers were peak. The new ones look weird
I am not blinded by nostalgia or anything, but i am all in for the classics. I love the 2014, in my opinion, the 2014 is better
Wonderful job. I agree the 2024 one is better. I'm debating between it and the newest halo pelican. Which do you prefer?
@@zvvv8792 personally LEGO for me so the star destroyer, bud choose whichever you like more

new one is much smaller, is not only lenght difference...
Do you have the imperial light cruiser? If so can you compare that set with this set?
That video will come out in 4 days!
