    The rake does a nice job. I have a 400 and the gear box appears to be the weak link on it. As for the jack, mine has a six inch chain with hook that attaches to the frame. You are better off using the bungee cord.

    Looks almost identical to a Ford 513 I have, same belt drive and all...

      Its possible that new idea and ford used the same rake. My mother used to ride with my grandfather in the 50's to western ohio to pick up new farm equipment. We are in western NYS and he was a small dealer at his farm.(found it : Coldwater ohio) Also- YES - the new idea rake was sold as a Ford rake as well. Both made in coldwater, just a 3 hr drive from Detroit today.

    How fast are you going? Mine seem to works best about 4mph? If i go slower it doesn't seem to roll as easy
