You guys seen like really cool guys to go off-roading with. I do a lot in the states and its always nice to go wheelin with good friends and people. CHEERS!! And being a Toyota guy, that Land Cruiser is AWESOME!!!! (4 RUNNER OWNER).
Thank you very much for commenting. We always try and keep like minded people together enjoying the fun of wheeling. Keep those wheels turning brother-in-humanity!!
Awesome! Real similar to the rock crawling we do in Moab here in the states. I think the lower gearing and the bigger tires of the nissan really help with this style of offroading. I know I had to do lower gears when I went to 37"s on my landcruiser and it really helped me. What a cool video! Thanks fkr sharing your adventures!
I love your work guys. Just some mates getting out there and having fun. Just a hint for those watching this video. If you are doing 4x4 driving keep your window up enough to prevent your arm going out if the vehicle does go over. There are plenty of videos out there of what seems like an innocent easy manouvre that tips a fourby over. Your arm will not fair well if crushed between 2-3ton of metal and rock earth. It's ok to have window open a bit, just not enough to have your arm out in a roll over. Sure the window might pop but it's better than nothing. Also make sure the bystanders / onlookers are well clear. Not pretty if it goes bad. Keep up the good work, stay safe K
Yup. The title says it all, "80 series hill". That 2nd climb by LC80 was a nerve wracking, teeth grinding, where I unknowingly choke the plastic gatorade bottle for the whole seems eternal 5 minutes. Whew! On the other hand, the GU4 TB48 is the Rock GOD right there. It's just a walk in a park. Nice vid Man. Kudos to all. Nice to see your group in TREPADORs. ;)
In 7 days my and my friends and my dad and my wife are going to the 🏖️🌅whit my ford ranger wildtrak and my dads citroen c4 for 10 days😉. You are a great driver like my dad
For the love of crumb cake burgundy 80 series put on a seat belt when rock climbing like that. I really enjoy watching your vids and wish to continue so. So buckle up man.
Some of the best wheeling video's on youtube! I really love the Patrol, wish so bad we had them in North America. How have you liked the Trepadors? I've ran the radials for a few years now, really considering giving the bias Treps a try.
Wow. Don't often hear him say "I'm scared." I was too. I'm looking forward to the "The Taipan Wall, The Grampians Overhang Challenge" on the 35 inch Bridgestone Suction Cup Duellers. Remember to secure all loose objects in the cabin and make sure that your seat back trays are stowed away. Thank you for flying Aussie Four Wheelers Airline. Another wonderful video that got my heart started on a Monday morning. (Google the Taipan Wall, Grampians to see what I mean hehe)
I noticed none of the trucks have sliders. Is that the norm down under? Here, in the US, I believe sliders are considered standard equipment for crawling. You think that's overkill?
None? Yeah, we fit sliders first thing here as well. Some choose not to, in order to have more clearance under the sill and once the sill is damaged, they cut it out and make sliders incorporated into the sill.
Nothing wrong in taking brand new vehicles offroad, they won't stay new forever. Dedicated... perhaps weekend warrior. Some run the risk with tyres, some change them over during the week. I hope that answers your question, that's the way I understood it.
how much l remember this was a first video l saw you guys wheeling, before that l didn't even know what rock crowlin is.. You are just amazing and your videos are very inspirational, can't wait to buy myself a 4wd which should be sometime soon if forces of nature allow.. ;-)) btw how's that that you drove LC80 in this vid?
Thank you very much for this great comment. Glad that we could inspire people that know and understand the hobby. You're more than welcome to join us on our adventures once you get your 4WD. Haha, driving the LC80 in this video was quite an experience. Loved it!
Depends what you like and what style of driving. Personally, I'd go manual for mud bashing and auto for rock crawling for better control on those vertical climbs as well as less clutch changing. Crawler gears will definitely improve control and save the clutch.

red/maroon descent at 8 minutes... ouch! That's some serious stress testing.
Yeah 😂😂😂
oh sh*t, the LC80 can twerk too , good to know, :-)
WTF is he taking a brand new Patrol rock crawling for? And, it's gotta be a dedicated offroader in Oz bc of the tire size, correct?
Nothing wrong in taking brand new vehicles offroad, they won't stay new forever. Dedicated... perhaps weekend warrior. Some run the risk with tyres, some change them over during the week. I hope that answers your question, that's the way I understood it.
Boys.... nice vids but is there a world shortage on sliders and rear bars?
Thanks for watching mate 👍 Slowly, they're getting there. Sills are getting replaced, rear bars are getting built etc.
Ahhhhh good stuff, keep it up mate 🤙
Thanks mate 👍
