Now they got Super Pockets that go around $60 so if you want to have Arcade Style Games in your hand you can start with a Super Pocket with built in games as well.
Good stuff, I watched your review video of the original handheld in January 2021 and I bought into Blaze Entertainment's great Evercade ecosystem back then, the new EXP looks great and I've got a regular white version on the way...
Yes Flying Shark was the name of Sky Shark in Europe and i think in Japan as well. And we know Battle Chopper as Mr. Heli. Super Great Games. I m still playing sometimes that game in my amstrad cpc. It is a microcomputer of the age of c64. Not very popular there, I believe. I cant wait for my Evercade, only 6 days more....Vamooos
If you have a Nintendo Switch, you can always get the Genesis Classics collection. It has almost every single 16-bit Treasure game on there (except for Yu-yu hakusho because of licensing).
I have ordered the normal version, not the limited edition, so i had to buy separately the Toaplan cartridge, i love snow bros jeje. Anyway i prefer the white one. And paying less money, 170 instead of 200, I have also ordered the one from Data east, i love Tumblepop also. Thank very much. A big hug from Spain.
This handheld looks awesome, so much so, that I clicked on the link you put on you page, but decided not to get one as of yet. I went onto the evercade website to see if they have more than one color, they had a limited edition one, that comes in black, which I prefer, but unfortunately they had those stolen. I joined the official Facebook page and asked the question if they plan on having more than one color, and also if they plan on making more of the recently stolen limited edition black one's, haven't gotten a response yet, me personally I would like them to come out with black, silver, and a blue one, I just think it would look better than the plain white one, but if they won't come out with any other color, then I will end up buying the white one

If you preorder , like me , the comercial EXP (150€, well i paid 135) you have the machine and the irem cartridge and it is in white. i like more in white anyway, that's why I also asked for the toaplan cartridge, i need to play snow bros straight away jeje aahhh and by the way I asked for the data east one too. Even with everything, I spent less than the limited edition and with one more cartridge. I'm very happy and so excited

I was thinking to buy this but I am loaded up on handhelds. Have the Switch, Steam Deck and bought a playdate that I am waiting on. With all the Steam Deck emulation features, I am fine with using that to play all the great classics.
I'll get it eventually but am not in any hurry since I have the original and the VS already. Those Capcom games are nice but I already have them in all other sorts of systems anyway. So I am not gonna run to buy on release now. Later when I have plenty of spare cash.
Hopefully the community will figure out a mod for it and allow installing games like the classics that were released. Wonder how much internal storage is on it .

I get you man I'm 52 and have eyesight issues and don't buy portables. For me all these screens are O.K. if your eyesight is good and/or young. Why didn't this came out in my teens? Lol!😆
Yeah I have a Switch OLED and that screen is okay. That said it is 7 inches (much bigger then evercade). I think I'll stick with my VS for evercade games lol.
And now talking about the EXP, im imagining those 5 hidden games from irem or capcom. Dreaming is free. These would be the ghost and goblins, the gun smoke for sure and why not Undercover Cops, woow i cant wait jejeje
I'm originally from Yakima washington. You should try the Powkiddy X51 I have one and I love it it plays Sega NES SNES Capcom some PS1 ect. Almost 6000 game. . Love your channel.
My worry about this is that the cartridge slot is not covered unless a game is in there. Dust can still get in there, so I don't know. Thanks for the review. I might get it. And then there is downloadable games so how is this any different, than anything else.
Ooo is there a device that allows N64 gaming that doesn’t involve paying extra? *I’M looking at YOU switch!* Yes the switch immediately disappointed me when the N64 part is a ‘pay extra’ feature.
Is there a HDMI security on it like the PlayStation consoles and handhelds? Do you have the proper splitter that bypasses the security.? I'm not into the micro consoles or handhelds, but, this system looks super slick. Always appreciate your take on these cool pieces of kit!
Tate mode looks really bad and that's unfortunate. It looks like the buttons are too cramped together and basically unusable. If it was good, then you would have like it immediately.

I think it is not a good console. When you can buy similar consoles but on Android and install emulators for different consoles and enjoy all the old games for free.

I have flying shark and Mr heli on my RetroPie great games.
Also tiger heli and twin eagle are great shoot em up games.
Loved my og evercade and still play it. I play my vs all the time. So i look forward to the exp.

Most HDMI splitters you can get will break the HDCP handshake and allow you to run things like this into a capture card

I might have to get this. I got an original evercade (never got around to buying new games though) it was good for the price.

When I saw that it had Moon patrol I was so glad that I had bought mine it should be here about January 5th through the 10th

TATE buttons are too close together & there should be 3 minimum. A larger screen would have been nicer and a bit more colour to the actual device imo.
