What a bizarre coincidence. I just happened to redownload this game a few days ago. It's one of my favorite "chill" games. I love sound and feel of the guns. My only problem is that I needed to install a storage increase mod to facilitate my loot addiction. My first time encountering a tank was after a few hours. My brother and I had consolidated guns and ammo. He had shotguns, machine guns, and hunting rifles, while I had SMGs, pistols and rocket launchers. I burned through all my rockets, most of my smg ammo, and probably any grenades I was carrying. In one fight we had burned through supplies that had taken us hours to scavenge. Needless to say we needed more dakka.
For your first playthrough of this game, you HAVE to play it solo. It is such a good experience solo, and in multiplayer it becomes a wild clusterfuck but is still really fun.

I remember my favorite build is what I like to call “ The shotgun minesweeper” I’d have enough gas canisters to blow up half the island and a shotgun with two bullets. I’d place all my gas canisters in one location (preferably where the robots walking path is) and within a certain distance I’d shoot the canisters and watch as the bodies fly and try to shoot them in the air with the second shell.
I love generation zero. A beautiful masterpiece of an apocalypse of cybernetic killing Spartan machines attack earth. This game I have, and I'm so glad I have it. It's hella fun. Every sound design and the graphics are just increíble for a game kinda old. Gen0 is the possibly, imo, the best game I have so far. And it sounds like y'all had an absolute blast playing it with friends, as going it alone, just makes you feel, VERY vulnerable to anything. All in all, 100/10 on this game.
I love this game. As you get further into it the bots only get more horrifying. But after a certain point there's only really one that scares you. It definitely maybe probably doesn't have a thermobaric detonation that it can do at will. Also the sound design is immaculate.
One time I got trapped in a house and had an entire horde of hunters and runners assault me because there were like 4 seekers outside broadcasting my position. I managed to win somehow got like 4k Xp and was completely out of all ammo. Then a tank wandered in.

@BlackMoonHowls ......I am not reading all of that, but it's nice see someone who knows about rosario vampire
This video was chock full of explosions, ragdolling, and opera. I love it. ❤
I have been playing this since 2020 it’s nice to see it finally get some coverage
Finally dude! I have been playing this game since day 1. So happy to see this on the channel!
Edit: There is a factory that has 30 explosive canister. And if you leave the place its located they respawn.
0:58 POV: you are from Philly and see Hitchbot (he's wearing a cowboys jersey)
I didn't know I needed to be aware of the Boston Dynamics Swedish Apocalypse in my life, but I'm glad I have now internalized this genre and want more.

Finally you guys played generation 0! From the moment I first saw the game, I just knew it would be fun to watch all of you play it lol
0:58 pov Hitchbot
As someone who 100% the game a while back, it’s great to see others enjoying the game after a good amount of time!
That poor prototype doggo at the start of the vid 😭🙏
I always find it so funny that riding your bike is quieter than crawling.
Just came across this video, and your channel, you finally got to generation zero!
FINALLY!! RUBIX PLAYS ONE OF THE UNDERRATED GAMES IVE SEEN POSTED ON UA-cam!
yes there are those gameplays but still feel few
I’ve been playing Generation Zero for a few years now, glad to see it finally getting some lovw
6:30 saving private ryan moment
This game is criminally underrated
this definitely needs to be a series.
Good game been playing it for quite a while and Jay and his team encapsulated the propane bombs of doom pretty well.
6:03 Yeah, the first time I saw a Tank running at me, I absolutely shat myself, screaming in terror of this behemoth just charging at me
I remember when IGP used to play these games alot
2:53 "Oh there's a big one!" upon seeing a Hunter (a humanoid robot thats a little bigger than a human), if only he knew at the time
I'm happy that there is a new video about generation zero out so thanks
Congratulations, your finally playing a game that I play, now I can finally watch one of your episodes
LETS GO!!!!! This game is so underrated
One time I got trapped in a house and had an entire horde of hunters and runners assault me because there were like 4 seekers outside broadcasting my position. I managed to win somehow got like 4k Xp and was completely out of all ammo. Then a tank wandered in.
3:20 AH, zat would be robot model H.I.M.M.L.E.R.
the trees and bushes are well done in this game and sneaking past the robots with crawling is quite viable
5:13 S-TANK!
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! Dude I was waiting so damn long for you to get this game! I love this game and its DLC, and I am looking forward to seeing more content. I've beaten the main story and the DLC story, so I'm gonna have a lotta fun watching you play this. Might be time for me to finally tune into some livestreams, lol.
this is genuinely one of my favorite games and it’s so underrated
Real, we need more sponsorships ngl
