Great story Brett! We’ve all done things we’ve looked back at and thought, “What was I thinking?” But you made it home, and got something out of it. Looks like you had a beautiful day, but then again, I couldn’t see the wind!! Be well, Patrick
Yep it was now almost 5 years ago. I still think about it sometimes when I ride then I get into nervous riding mode. The music video I posted last week helps calm my racing mind
I am happy for you that at the end everything was fine. Sometimes it is what it is. Funny video mate. Just keep it up. p.s. I really do not know what is happening these days that we got a lot less views.
Hahaha! I love the movie clips, bro! Thanks for taking us back to that fateful day. Sounds like you learned a valuable lesson. Good story man! Glad you and the bike weren’t too beat up!
Glad you got back on the bike. I broke my ankle when I was younger doing other dumb shit which lead me to doing even more dumb shit, like riding my CBR600 with a cast on my right ankle because I wanted to ride and nobody is going to tell me otherwise. 🤘🤘
Good story Brett, yeah when that adrenaline rush hits, you can do some pretty crazy things. Glad to hear that accident didn’t deter you away from continuing to ride. 🙂🏍️👍
Sounds like my minor crash. I had something similar happen with the front forks, they just didn't respond and the bike wouldn't turn. I was fine on that one. The other crash where I high sided is what messed me up.
You, son, are the American version of @MillionDollarBogan !! I know how traumatic this whole thing was, and retelling it brought a lot of those feelings back again....BUT as you said in the video, you learned a little bit about yourself and life, not quitting, not giving up, that day. AND NOW, now that you have had the courage to tell your story (thanks for the shoutout by the way!), next Spring, you and I need to revisit the Louisburg Cider Mill and put this episode in your life in the rear view mirror, once and for all. (and son, call me, anytime, ANYTIME, for anything, please!) (for those of you wanting the original challenge video, here's the link) ua-cam.com/video/9WQZvQM6wcED/v-deo.htmlad
First three day ride I did when getting back into motorcycles. I fell off in the first two hours of a three day trip. Crushed the top of my finger (won’t go into too much detail on that). But I got patched up and continued the ride. My wife was not impressed as I did not tell her about the injury/crash until I got home.
Oh my...yeah...should have sucked up the pride and called someone, but as you say you learned a lot from this...never give up!! Good for you!! Does the dumbest thing have to involve a motorcycle?? lol
I'll have to watch your dad's video...missed that one! Yep, I can see where this is going! Ohhhh, the dreaded gravel! How did those handle bars go again??? I can't type that sound, lol.
How's this for stupid....My second day of owning a bike, I thought the bike was broken. Cause when I went to go out and ride the bike would stall everytime I put it into gear. Took me 20 minutes to realize the kickstand was down!! 🤣
If you told me I needed to pave my driveway I would've immediately offered to buy you training wheels as a compromise . Glad you're not dead my dude!
When I was a young rider I could have used them I think. Stay tuned next week there is more gravel!!!
We have all had thise moments we try to forget! Glad you got back on your bike.
Thanks Eric. I still feel it in my ankle every now and then lol
At least you take the positive side that it made you a better rider. Live and learn!
Yea I had to. I even go on gravel every now and then now too lol
@@ChopperFett I hate gravel!!!haha
Good stuff Brett. I did the same thing in a wet parking lot when I first started riding. More embarrassment than damage done. Good story time video!
Thanks Smitty. I know a lot of people with similar stories. And then there are the others who “never crashed in my life” like a ticking time bomb lol.
Good on you for getting back on the bike Brett. For some that would have been their riding days over. 😎🤘🏻
The thought crossed my mind many times for sure.

Haha the wind wasn’t tooooo bad that day anyway but yea I’m just glad I pushed on
Glad you ok. Sometimes we learn things the hard way. I went down when I was a new rider from taking a turn to short. 👊🇺🇸

Yea i bet I could have slam dunked with how pumped up I was hahag
That's the turning point for many, the first time down. You decided to immediately get back on and make the ride back. Great story!
Yep you either quit or get back on. I’d be lost without motorcycles now lol
@ChopperFett Yes, for better or worse, you got back on. I'm with you on your decision. Ride Safe.
Perseverance always wins buddy! Good story! I'll give ya an "atta boy"...................THIS IS THE WAY!
Haha thanks AB!

Yea man I still have some ankle pain every now and then. Luckily the boots I was in at the time probably saved my ankle

@@ChopperFett So now Big Brother YT doesn't like me putting YT links in my YT comments....jeeze
Good story Chop. I may have to take this challenge myself lol.
By all means. It was a good therapy session actually.
You've been challenged by the originator! LOL

Great story mate, glad you continued riding which means that you have the right mindset. ✌️
Enjoyed the story Brett. Glad you were ok.
Thanks Larry. Lived and learned lol
That's really cool and interesting Rides bro. Keep it up and more vidz to come.
Appreciate it!
We haven't even reached the stupid part yet, lol
Hahahaha I was rambling on and on lol
And now at our house, it's wayyyyy toooo quiet! 🥰
It’s never too quiet there. The mornings when I reply to comments is the only time everyone in the house is sleeping and quiet lol
Brett I honestly thought you were going to say you dropped your donuts. glad your ok, cheers

I don’t think it does I just did motorcycle cuz I had a prime example

So far "knock on wood" I've only dropped my bike but at least I got it on camera! I will include it in every intro for my channel until the end....
