Love this more militant Alfred. Pants tucked into the boots, military sweater. Just badass.
its the real alfred, he was ex military according to the lore
Alfred was former-SAS.
I noticed that, too about Jeremy Irons as Alfred. His Alfred is more like the one from the comics who was in the SAS. If I`m not mistaken, Michael Caine`s Alfred was supposed be ex-military,too(that was the backstory that Caine said he had created for his take on Alfred).

Alfred has and always will be a badass!

This is how batman is like, stoic in the field and showing some humour when it's with close family
No. This Batman sucked. BvS Batman was they perfect Batman and Bruce Wayne
Cole The Incredible true, the batman in BvS was fucking bad ass! They made him a bitch in JL. But i like Bruce Wayne here
Well, sometimes I miss Bale's Batman, but Ddlala63 is right. Affleck's Bruce and Batman would be more like the Animated one, despite his demeanor still like BvS.
Ddlala63 this Batman is stoic in the field? :D are u kidding? Just go and watch some of the animated JL and u'll see what the real Batman looks like .. surely not like this .. this one is absolutely useless, fighting 2 hours with common soldiers, cant fight with any superhero .. has no solution .. Oh, you clueless idiot. Bruce Wayne is like this in the comics. But how could you know, you poor fuck? You probably only saw the Nolan movies as reference.

Ok this is the one seen I do wish they would’ve added in Snyder’s cut cause I love Alfred teasing Bruce about him and Diana and there friendship is so genuine in this scene
I think it was corny and I'm glad Zack didn't include it.
@@alexlazzerly3677 agree to disagree yeah it was kinda corny but I think it was serious enough that they could’ve included it in it and it gives us a more laid back scene of Alfred which as long as Alfred is not like that the entire movie (like they did in Jw’s version) it would’ve been a great add to the movie in my opinion anyways
@@marywagstaff1178 There are plenty of laid-back scenes in the Snyder Cut. The scene of him and Wonderwoman making tea for example. Batman acting like a shy schoolboy when mentioning Wonder Woman is kinda out of character in my opinion.
@@chochtopf8682 yeah but it shows his soft side cause as u know Bruce Wayne is always classified as this playboy type of person and this is showing that with Diana it’s different he can’t be his cocky confident self around her or when talking about her cause it’s more of a love rather then just a lust. Also yeah there were some scenes of Alfred being laid back in Snyder’s Cut but it really wasn’t that many I think if they would’ve included this it would’ve fit all the scenes of Alfred perfectly together
"Oh, perhaps I should fly to Paris with a handwritten note -- 'Will you be Bruce's teammate? Check Yes or No?' "
Loved that line!
I absolutely love Alfred’s sarcasm in this movie it makes sense after looking after Bruce from a young age I wish we’d see more moments like this in future movies
It's incredible how every live-action Alfred seems like the ultimate version of the character, but they're all perfect in their own right. I really struggle to pick a favorite. Michael Gough is adorable, Michael Caine is bittersweet, Jeremy Irons is hilariously sarcastic, Andy Serkis is mysterious...
Michael Caine was nothing like the Alfred from the comics. Alfred's an ex military badass, he could throw hands with most of Batman's villains. He would also never leave Bruce.
@@VDA19it's called an adaptation for a reason plus Alfred wasn't always a military dude who raised Bruce in the comics.

Yup
They had to leave that in because gillette was a sponser for the movie
That would explain why it’s the best looking shot of Bruce in the whole film I guess
I thought the same thing...it pretty bad when you can tell when the reshoots are.
Maybe in this scene but there's more throughout the movie. In original scenes Bruce has a widow's peak.
pretty much the only scene we get where batman and Alfred come to the realization that bigger things in the universe exist. Its something that is almost never talked about in the comics, going from fighting human criminals to alien warlords is a big jump that gets glossed over.

One of the things I did like a lot from this version of Batman was the dynamic between Alfred and Bruce. I loved Bale and Caine's dynamic in TDK trilogy but this was distinctly different, with Irons being more of a colleague who helps and less of a father figure.
1:13 lol, that's the Alfred from Cartoons
This is the most accurate interpretation of batman in my heart
Yes.
Bruce: "I'm only interested in her skill set".
Alfred: "(chuckles) "I'm sure you are"!.
In one scene, Alfred (Jeremy Irons) says to Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck), "One misses the days when one's biggest concerns were exploding wind-up penguins." This is a reference to Batman Returns (1992), where Batman (Michael Keaton) goes up against Catwoman (Michelle Pfeiffer) and the Penguin (Danny DeVito) who had an army of penguins wearing exploding rockets with a plot to destroy Gotham City.
"I misses the days were my biggest concern were exploding buildings while trying to kill Lt John Mcclane"

That shave scene was probably Snyder. His face looks like before 2017.
Don't think so, his skin complexion is off, you can see some botox work he had done during this time and has that alcohol bloat which he had during the reshoots.
Affleck doesn’t care in these reshoots which is fine, fair enough, he knew it was a sinking ship I guess, but respect to Irons for being an absolute pro
He was great in Zack Snyder's justice league tho
Thats bc he was dealing with his alcoholism during the reshoots
The way scar said aqua man.... I just can't. This is too much.
Jeremy: "I once knew a boy that ran away from his problems after I killed his Father."
Fun fact 0:04 of bruce shaving is a zack snyder shot, and the rest is whedon
Which is why that's the only scene in the movie where Ben looks good. Who knew shaving could instantly make your face retain a crap ton of water and also erase your widow's peak...
And change your hair from partially gray to brown.
Normal face, then red face. Badass before, a clown after. Fucking Weddon
That's what I was wondering, why does it look like he had applied slight lip stick later on 😂😂😂
Holy shit, Ben full shaved is like 20 years old, they could effortlessly make a trilogy with him being in his firsts years.
IV Ivan IV they can because Ben affleck in real life doesn't have all that grey hair .. which I think they should've gave him a clean cut with black hair

I love this Alfred. Got the jokes of Bruce's son, Damien.
Does this mean that this Batman is the continuation of Tim Burton's Batman? Cause last time I checked, those pinguins appeared in Batman Returns.
That would actually make sense and also explain why he kills 🤔.
Shaving in a shirt and waist-coat. Ok.
Ben Affleck makes a good Batman/ Bruce Wayne. Not his fault that the script / CGI / directing was bad. He looks fed up though. I can totally believe he wants out of the role.
A good guess is that he is dissapointed with the reshoots like other actors. He signed up to play Batman because of Snyders vision. Now WB/JW ruined that vision completely.
@@The80sWolf_ Snyder's vision was asinine and went against core aspects of Batman and Superman's personalities. Now, change isn't inherently bad, but based on leaks of his original scripts and ridiculous statements about Batman and Superman's morality, he was going to ruin their characters and by extension the movie even more than Whedon. Not to say Joss and WB didn't fuck the movie up royally, because they did, but let's not pretend that BvS's Batman, while mostly faithful to the comics, was perfect. Amazing compared to the rest of the movie, but it focused entirely too much on the wrong things and glossed over important aspects of his character.
Why does he kill now? That in itself is fine and a fantastic development of his character...if handled well. Not only was it not handled well, it wasn't handled at all, with only some vague mention of Bruce becoming "darker" in his old age. I'm all for subtlety, but this isn't that, it's laziness. Snyder wanted explosions and edgy brutality, so he took all the "cool" aspects of Batman and discarded anything that didn't fit that. Let's not even talk about Superman's utter and total character assassination in man of steel and bvs. He is the beacon of hope and yes, he is that "jesus" messianic figure that snyder loves to talk about so much in his movies. But it's like Snyder took the "sacrificial god above us" aspect and turned it up to 11, discarding what made him interesting and what distinguished him from Batman.
Batman wants to be a symbol of justice and of fear. He is an ordinary man pretending to be a god so that he can not only hide his insecurities and weaknesses, but prey on the weaknesses of bad people. Superman is the opposite, a god pretending to be a human. No superman story should ever focus too much on his true parentage and it should NEVER treat it as tragic. Clark Kent is not a tragic character and that is the point. He shouldn't be moody and burdened, he should be happy and optimistic. He was raised by a happy and functional family in rural Kansas. He should NOT be cool, he should NOT be an outcast, he should be a dorky idealistic farmboy who is naive, yes, but earnest and willing to sacrifice himself to save everyone. Batman is an unstable psycho madman that uses fear and intimidation as a weapon. cold, calculated, sneering, and utterly terrifying. Superman should NEVER be mean or as superior as he comes off in the movies. He should NEVER attempt to frighten ANYONE, even his enemies. His first action against his enemies should be to reason with them and when it comes to fighting, he should be taking as much damage as possible while saving citizens.

I just realised Whedon used snapshots of Cyborg from ZSJL from the football match scene. We had it before our eyes and didn't even noticed.
One of the few scenes I didn't mind from Josstice League
It's not too bad if watched by itself but it's actually a pretty boring scene when you realize that it's an exposition dump that is replacing a bunch of character-building scenes in the original script. In the Synder Cut, we actually see Barry visiting his father and having an emotional conversation and we see Cyborg being a talented young college athlete with a bright future and how this was taken from him. These are character-defining scenes but in this version, all we get is this brief summary by Alfred. "Show, don't tell", this scene is a textbook example of what you shouldn't do. Batman acting like a shy schoolboy when talking about Wonder Woman is also kinda weird. But I did like that conversation at the very end.
@@chochtopf8682 We actually get the Barry/father scene in Whedon too.
@@chochtopf8682 Bruh what are you talking about? Jeremy Iron’s Alfred is freaking savage. Tbh I really enjoyed Batfleck & this version of Alfred.
