The guy that does Agro is Jamie Dunn. He was the producer of the show. Agro's Cartoon Connection was a kid's show during the late 80's and into the 90's that had more adults watching it than its target demographic. A lot of the rude stuff actually made it onto television as sometimes the show went live. Ann-Marie Biggar, the host became quite brilliant at improvised comedy.
In Australia we also had the opportunity to watch the fabulous American Ventriloquist David Strassman over the years we regularly have seen him perform with his chuck wood doll I still remember Chucky's glowing red eyes
Jamie Dunn is a legend! I used to go to channel 7 in Mt Cootha on weekends as a kid in the audience and was on the show a couple of times with Agro... I then worked in the news room doing editing.. Years later he came to my café regularly and is a Brisbane Icon. He hosted the morning radio for many years and we love him so much. xoxo
Agro was a cheeky little bugga . I remember him fondly as did most Aussies who were around to watch him lol Jamie Dunn was amazing and we all loved him and god love Anne Marie lol he really payed out on her lol 😂 this was a nice stroll down memory lane 😂and it would be unheard of now for being politically incorrect lol
I loved this show when I was a young girl. The show was Agros Cartoon Connection and they had things where kids could write in, they had a wildlife expert come in and talk about our wildlife and they used to show cartoons. A brilliant show and poor Anne-Marie suffered a lot. There is a video on UA-cam that is uncensored out-takes. Hilarious stuff.
Agro was hilarious, poor old Anne-Marie, or anyone else that came on the show. It was one of those morning shows that would show a bunch of cartoons and in between, these guys would do segments. Supposed to be for kids, but he got plenty of adults tuning in. This clip was very tame (funny though) compared to some others on YT (there's quite a few) he could get really rude, lol. Thanks for the laughs today Mike. ❤
Thank you for reviewing this show. It brought back childhood memories of watching this show every weekend. His humour hasn’t dated and still gets a laugh after all these years. Anne Maree was on Agro’s show from 1989 until 1995 before becoming a reporter. Glad you enjoyed it, Mike. With best wishes from Down Under 😘🇦🇺.
They were the days, early 90’s, GO AGRO, hilarious. Ann Marree & him, the perfect duo. This show definitely sums up our humour of the Aussie’s. We always give each other shit, why, just because we can. Thirty or so years later, we haven’t changed. I laughed none stop. Thanks for the footage, memory lane. ❤
Had the pleasure of meeting Jamie Dunn who does the hand puppet Agro. Great kids morning cartoon show. Jamie isn’t a ventriloquist just does the hand puppet. By the way Jamie still does a comedy adult circuit around Australia with Agro.
Another segment of the show was Crikey the Clown who would do challenges sent in by the audience. I'll never forget the time he tried to peel a lime with his hands covered in slippery hand cream!
The show was called Agro's Cartoon Connection and was an after school 'kids' show that introduced cartoons and had filler pieces between cartoons, they ran competitions and showcased new products.etc. These clips are the filler pieces which was usually Agro teasing Anne Marie merciolessly and using a lot of sexual innuendo and occassional swearing. It was meant for kids, but was popular with adults as well.
I myself appears on Agro in 1994 as a newborn baby, as did my sister and Dad. Agro was, and still is, a number one national treasure over here. There’s one clip of Agro kissing Terasa Livingstone I think you should check out at some point.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
think of the small UPS or FedEx vans in the US, in the UK they are called Lorries, hence when Agro said Laurie was named after a truck he was talking about the UK Lorry truck/van
Agro got his start on "Boris's Breakfast Club" on Brisbane television in the early 80's when that show ended he got to headline the replacement show that went nation wide, at one point he was the host of the morning and Afternoon Cartoon block.
Jamie Dunn (the guy under the desk) and agro did a tour around Australia performing an adults only live show last year. I never got tickets but I am told it was hilarious.
I grew up as a kid watching this agro was hilarious just type agro there's a lot of him with Anne Marie and some of those things he said did make it on TV so yeah watch more because he will make you happy I laugh my head of everytime I see him he awesome 😊
It was on for about an hour each morning ( Mon-Fri ) and show 4 or 5 different cartoons and half of what you watch was on air a lot was out takes ann-0Maree quit after 7 years about 2 years after that it stopped i believe that the guy who played agro died a year after the show stopped .... I live in Australia and used to watch it
Most of these did go to air. The outakes are worse. Not a ventriloquist as he's under the table. It's Agros Cartoon Connection. The zoom outs are cuts to cartoons. Was on every morning. We use to watch it before school.
With the tram when she said she got lost (she was saying she was in Melbourne) Agro if she ended up on the North Shore - which is in Sydney - suggesting she got REALLY lost, and also trams of course don't run between Melbourne and Sydney adding to the surreal nature of his jibe
You won't be surprised that Agro ended up being banned from Aussie TV. A new generation of sensitive viewers thought it was demeaning to women. Agro has returned occasionally on talk shows.
Wait till you see the R rated agro the ones they cut from going to air ,when she dragged him out from under the table it was a kids cartoon show late 80's early 90's you cant get away with it now

Agro is a classic...now you have to do the adults only clips!
In Australia we also had the opportunity to watch the fabulous American Ventriloquist David Strassman over the years we regularly

I will be booking tickets to see Agro and Jamie Dunn live on stage in Ipswich. Should be fun

The Animated Castle you saw was the beginning of the Scooby Doo cartoon they used to have cartoon segments throughout the show
Agro Australias rudest & most loved 'bath mat'😂
The show was called Agro's Cartoon Connection and was an after school 'kids' show that introduced cartoons and had filler pieces between cartoons, they ran competitions and showcased new products.etc. These clips are the filler pieces which was usually Agro teasing Anne Marie merciolessly and using a lot of sexual innuendo and occassional swearing. Uncensored version is MUCH better 😂😂
This was my childhood. Australia’s favourite bath mat.
Jamie Dunn (the guy under the desk) and agro did a tour around Australia performing an adults only live show last year. I never got tickets but I am told it was hilarious.
Argo is what you get if you don't was the mat on the floor of the rest room and it come alive.
When it zoomed out, it was the start of a cartoon
I grew up as a kid watching this agro was hilarious just type agro there's a lot of him with Anne Marie and some of those things he said did make it on TV so yeah watch more because he will make you happy I laugh my head of everytime I see him he awesome 😊
The tram destination she was talking about I used to work on as a tram conductor back in the 1970s.
I have my own little Agro Video. It's so funny. Jamie Dunn is Agro and he was a very funny man.
Chucking a dart refers to smoking cigarettes here in Aus btw.
Jamie Dunn. He pops up here and there occasionally
Never saw this live but have seen heaps on UA-cam. Funny as Fck.
Happy you are doing adult version... Look at that later
Agro should come back on tv he was so funny 😂
Ahh Bring back the good old days
She knew exactly what was coming up.
These were actully outtakes that never made it to air all the segments were pre recorded and the cartoons were shown live
You should watch the rude version...
Most of these did go to air. The outakes are worse.
Not a ventriloquist as he's under the table.
It's Agros Cartoon Connection. The zoom outs are cuts to cartoons. Was on every morning. We use to watch it before school.
Agro is actually a woollen bath mat. Not a bear or gremlin but a bath mat. Apparently he smells.
With the tram when she said she got lost (she was saying she was in Melbourne) Agro if she ended up on the North Shore - which is in Sydney - suggesting she got REALLY lost, and also trams of course don't run between Melbourne and Sydney adding to the surreal nature of his jibe
Still in Agro is a champ.
And this is clean stuff........
Love agro
Now you understand why Aussies are so twisted we grew up with Agro lol
You won't be surprised that Agro ended up being banned from Aussie TV. A new generation of sensitive viewers thought it was demeaning to women. Agro has returned occasionally on talk shows.
Yeah the commie left. Unable to go through life without everyone else's validation.
They would break the fourth wall occasionally and admit that Agro was actually a puppet…
Agro show cartoon because it was a deal with show
wait until you see the ones that didn't go to air.
I had a huge crush on Anne Maree when I was younger. I thought she was hot.
Wait till you see the R rated agro the ones they cut from going to air ,when she dragged him out from under the table it was a kids cartoon show late 80's early 90's you cant get away with it now
11:15 💘💕🥰 If only all women were as attractive as Ann-Maree Biggar, the selection process would bd so much easier for us men 🙄❗️
Agro wasn't this funny when i was a child 🤪
The adults only version with 5 million views is very very dirty , along the same path as Rodney rude and Kevin bloody Wilson.
