Wow! I've never seen anything like this (and I watch a lot of Resolve/Colour tutorials). Well done! I have the paid version of Resolve but I'm going to try this because I suspect it may use less resources than the plugin and result in smoother playback and faster renders... I will try to report back my results!
@@frenchiecolorgrading Thank you! I wonder if there are similar work arounds for simulating noise as the plugin can be GPU intensive. Maybe finding stock black and white noise and using an overlay node and dial down the opacity? That's how we used to do it in Photoshop.

Yes, it will normally be smoother if your gpu is overloaded, let us know about your test !! ☺️
