I have a tripod i love but i find that it makes noise when i am recording and moving around, and it's noise that you only hear on the recorded footage, not while you are moving. Do you know what i mean? Which one of the 2 would be more silent for this kind of noise? It's so annoying and sometimes i cannot cut it out if i was speaking at the same time, and it can be very loud. Although i'm thinking if i start using a RODE lapel mic, i might not have that problem anymore? I love the tripod other wise and have many of the same model for different cameras and lights.
Yeah i get you, usually the wires will get in the way and create unwanted noises, its hard to avoid it altogether so i suggest to invest into a wireless option or a boom mic such as the rode video mic go. But amongst the two, the MT-11 would have less chance for unwanted sound due to the flexibility of the tripod leg material, click hitting or clicking sounds imo.

I didn't know the mt-44 was that light, lighter than the mt-11 which i have. Very cool.
I have 11 MT for years and it is multitasking and I did not find any problem with it and I prefer it even to Gorille pod
