- Once again nature is throwing a few 'Curve Balls' for Baz and the Lynsey B. The moon is full and the tides are massive, meaning that the Lynsey B is unable to get into Dunbar Harbour at low tide.
Will Baz pull the creels he can in the time that is available or will he pull all his pots and then have to wait for nature? Tune in to find out.

Barry, again a super vlog, shame you are not catching lots, but what an office to work in. All my years in an office in Birmingham or driving up and down the motorways, I would have given my right arm to work where you do, even if the weather is bad. In so many ways you are such a lucky man. All you really need is a government that supports the small man not regulates them out of existence. Stay safe and healthy.

They usually only pop up one at a time, but their are different seals in different areas. I fish, I don't know if they have territorial area's for local seals, as I'm no expert on the " dogs of the sea", but I definitely know their differences on markings, and attitude near the boat.😁👌

The lobsters are in deeper water than they used to be that's for sure, but there are a lot more lobsters than their used to be too.
They just come in and out as the seasons passes, their pattern has really changed that much over the decades I've fished.😁👌

Stocks down, whales and dolphins washing up, sharks going mad, the more we interfere with nature, the worse we are making this planet, and for what profit before nature.😞🤬😡

So difficult working in the dark,jees, nearly 2 less boats in the harbour, what a nightmare, but nice sunrise, I used to wonder why I woke at 3am it was a wind turbine changing direction on a farm over the valley Lesmahagow, hate the damn things, interesting hearing about the boats changing over fishing squid, realy hard for you to break even Barry so much expenses enjoyed watching though, at least the seal didn't try to join you on the boat

Yeah, the turbines (at Sea) are not a good thing for the wildlife round about them. Not that I'm against green energy, it's I think thiers certainly a better way to use the planets resources than what these big profitable companies tell us, what's good for us and the planet.

You hit the nail on the head about the squid. We have no market for them on the South East Coast.
It's a shame what we could catch, but the buyers don't want it🤷♂️🙈
It would certainly take pressure off the lobster stocks if we could diversify 😁👌

The buyers will only be out for themselves. They aren't fussed where they get their stock from, so it would be just another fishery for them. Trust me when I say buyers aren't the heroes in this.😉👍
Where were the fishing rods, Baz? The time would have flown by if you were trying to catch some fish for bait for the pots and a meal.

Yes, it would be very devastating financially.
Not that we are against the size going up if they done it.
As long as they do it gradually so it would give the fishermen a chance to live.

Having turbines in the sea compared to land is completely different.
The sea is basically a huge amplifier, and sound and vibration run's vast.
This has proven to be devastating to marine mammals and other sea creatures in other countries. Why would it be so different here.🤔🤷♂️
Beautiful photography but your conspiracy theories on wind turbines and rants on fishing regulations are awful. You disliked the EU, VOTED for Brexit and hate the new British/International fishing regulations.......make up your mind!
