I love everything about this level! Its perfect! I love how the attacks are not just copy and pasted even if the song is just repeated. This is just awesome.
I have a feeling that Medusa would be the type that would channel their inner beyblade. And by that, I mean he would step into the arena and use his own body as the beyblade seeing as he can spin fast enough to spin a vortex of some sort.
I just discovered you! I watched the whole storyline up to here and this is so creative and intense! I love Medusa's ego, I wonder how he'll respond to having been one shot by Nautilus when he wakes up. Probably won't take it well I assume...
Say what you want about Nautilus getting the drop on him. That entire fight was an unbroken 3 miuntes of "I do not mess the $%@# around." Medusa is a badass in my book.
Medusa is a he because of 2 reasons 1. Medusa is made with a replicated version of the body of Nautilus. 2. Nautilus is a he, so Medusa has to be a he.
Man, you really went all out with this one, Medusa is a really surprising foe. Mingling every abilities of Aura and Nautilus in new deadly ways, although, he does look inexperienced in fighting (I mean, flailing hoping to hit the other for what, three to five seconds? C'mon Medusa, no amount of projectile will hit if you keep it focused in one direction!). However, I think I really like what you did with Aura's powers being used by Medusa. But analyzing the attacks? I'll leave it to someone else, I'll just say it's a very hectic fight, but if you know where to look at and not let yourself be distracted by the crazy amount of things on screen, it shouldn't be too hard. Let's look into his personality real quick. Cocky? Check. Not much for conversation? Check. Not managing his stamina during a fight? Double checked. Aggressive with very little defensive strategy? Check, check and re-checked. To explain to anyone wondering what that mumbo jumbo was about, lemme say it : Medusa seems overconfident, and clearly hasn't fought before. Moreover, instead of having any strategy and fighting smart, using his powers in smart ways to trick the player, he give his all, and I think this really exhausts him, which is why Nautilus was able to knock him out in one hit (Nautilus is Saitama confirmed?). Another thing to point is that he is very, very impatient, choosing to overwhelm the player with bullets in hope they die instead of doing... anything useful, really, and take very little pause to recover. Critical thing to point out, if, I assume from Nautilus' dialogue, his gem is his weak point, why does he never cover it during the fight? He leave himself completely open to any well placed hit, let me say that loud and clear : Medusa. Is. The most. Reckless. Impatient. Irresponsible. Boss Ol666 has made yet (from a lore standpoint, duh). He fights okay, I guess, I just hope he'll have a more organized way of fighting next time (standpoint still being the lore). Oh, also the animations must've been the most fluids yet in the entire series, kudos on that one! Ps : I just got the game recently, and can I say that, while every level is awesome, A New Dawn's final phase is... well, a little unfair? Still good, just a bit unfair with the screen's moving speed? Pps : will we have any new character in the future? I'd like to do a fanart featuring everyone, so it'd be good to know if I should wait to see any new character(s) or if Medusa was the last one to be introduced.
Yes there will be more characters in the future. Yea i know about the final phase in a new dawn being unfair, ill fix it some day. And yea thats pretty much who medusa is. Thats also his first battle because he was created right after a new dawn
Love how he seriously thought filling the entire screen with saws at the end would accomplish anything. By how slowly the saws were closing in, it looks like he'd hit the wall that keeps the bosses from just cheating and instead of handling it sensibly, tried to powerfully brute-force his way through it. Nautilus showing up doesn't save you; Medusa is literally unable to kill you if you keep dodging.
And if you pay attention in the part where medusa says: im better, am stronger, am faster, am smarter Pay attention to the music and it sounds like he is saying it with the music
I shall hereby declare that Medusa truly is a powerful boss. At the end, with the player's inescapable fate before he was intervened by Nautilus, he simply says 'die', which implies that his previous attacks were not meant to kill the player, but to rather to taunt them.

He wasn’t in the heart locket because he is the only assassin that managed to succeed. The assassins that failed get locked up in the heart locker and chained to be later petrified by medusa. Nautilus was not petrified because Nautilus had failed Jestar so many times and Jestar wanted him to feel pain for an eternity as Nautilus watches the world sail by as he stays chained up to be left to die.

THIS WAS AWESOME!!! I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! There needs to be a part where, remember when that one cyclops dude got bitten off, we see a whole village of them in like a forest. And they think that we killed them and they try to kill us, adding another level for this chapter (assuming you're doing ten levels (plus one easter egg level) for each chapter). It's optional, though, I mean, unless you want EVERY level to be a boss fight (which I don't entirely prefer), then it's okay. I dunno, do what you want to do, ol666. You probably have the ENTIRE story set up for all we know!

If you look close you can see Medusa has hair and it's got the serious rock star vibe and I love it another great boss can't wait for your next installment of this series it should maybe be something similar to myst where he just comes the F out of nowhere and attacks or maybe a rematch against Colossus

I'll leave it to someone else, I'll just say it's a very hectic fight, but if you know where to look at and not let yourself be distracted by the crazy amount of things on screen, it shouldn't be too hard.
Let's look into his personality real quick.
Cocky? Check.
Not much for conversation? Check.
Not managing his stamina during a fight? Double checked.
Aggressive with very little defensive strategy? Check, check and re-checked.
To explain to anyone wondering what that mumbo jumbo was about, lemme say it : Medusa seems overconfident, and clearly hasn't fought before. Moreover, instead of having any strategy and fighting smart, using his powers in smart ways to trick the player, he give his all, and I think this really exhausts him, which is why Nautilus was able to knock him out in one hit (Nautilus is Saitama confirmed?). Another thing to point is that he is very, very impatient, choosing to overwhelm the player with bullets in hope they die instead of doing... anything useful, really, and take very little pause to recover. Critical thing to point out, if, I assume from Nautilus' dialogue, his gem is his weak point, why does he never cover it during the fight? He leave himself completely open to any well placed hit, let me say that loud and clear : Medusa. Is. The most. Reckless. Impatient. Irresponsible. Boss Ol666 has made yet (from a lore standpoint, duh).
He fights okay, I guess, I just hope he'll have a more organized way of fighting next time (standpoint still being the lore).
Oh, also the animations must've been the most fluids yet in the entire series, kudos on that one!
Ps : I just got the game recently, and can I say that, while every level is awesome, A New Dawn's final phase is... well, a little unfair? Still good, just a bit unfair with the screen's moving speed?
Pps : will we have any new character in the future? I'd like to do a fanart featuring everyone, so it'd be good to know if I should wait to see any new character(s) or if Medusa was the last one to be introduced.

Love how he seriously thought filling the entire screen with saws at the end would accomplish anything. By how slowly the saws were closing in, it looks like he'd hit the wall that keeps the bosses from just cheating and instead of handling it sensibly, tried to powerfully brute-force his way through it.
Nautilus showing up doesn't save you; Medusa is literally unable to kill you if you keep dodging.

I shall hereby declare that Medusa truly is a powerful boss. At the end, with the player's inescapable fate before he was intervened by Nautilus, he simply says 'die', which implies that his previous attacks were not meant to kill the player, but to rather to taunt them.

He wasn’t in the heart locket because he is the only assassin that managed to succeed. The assassins that failed get locked up in the heart locker and chained to be later petrified by medusa. Nautilus was not petrified because Nautilus had failed Jestar so many times and Jestar wanted him to feel pain for an eternity as Nautilus watches the world sail by as he stays chained up to be left to die.

THIS WAS AWESOME!!! I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! There needs to be a part where, remember when that one cyclops dude got bitten off, we see a whole village of them in like a forest. And they think that we killed them and they try to kill us, adding another level for this chapter (assuming you're doing ten levels (plus one easter egg level) for each chapter). It's optional, though, I mean, unless you want EVERY level to be a boss fight (which I don't entirely prefer), then it's okay. I dunno, do what you want to do, ol666. You probably have the ENTIRE story set up for all we know!
