At long last, we have finally finished the animation collaboration for Corrupted. After roughly three months of hard work and brainstorming, it has paid off!
Possibly one of the longest videos I have ever uploaded in the channel with the help of over 20 animators, together with some notable artists and programmers.
The collaboration itself has transformed so much since its inception. From update to update, parts had slowly but surely become refined over time, and eventually turned out to be what you are watching right now!

This collaboration's advertisement revenue will serve as a fundraiser for UNICEF Philippines.

One obscure detail i noticed throughout is how each of the four players were a little different than eachother. Blue square seemed to be the most balanced, yellow triangle seemed to LOVE their dash & speed, green hexagon stayed mostly separate from the group and orange circle was pretty slow, preferring tiny adjustments to large movements. What's even crazier is how these archetypes are mostly preserved throughout the collab! It's fascinating!

4:21 is by far my favorite part because of the personality in the eyes near the end of the segment alone. This whole video is great, but that part just hits different

i went to the "Guardian/Protecter" theme on my boss character,the guardian whom protects the triangle,testing the player to see if they are worthy for the triangle and strong enough for the big journey to just shapes and beats' story mode.
everyone did amazing job in this collab,cheers for everyone!

I finally it really funny you can tell what parts of the collab were made in project arrhythmia and which were made in traditional animation software based on stuff like, smoother circles, or anti-aliasing, etc. It's fun to see both communities come together to make something.

I love how you can tell teel who has created level or played project arrythmia and my favorites were the portal sphere looking guy, the portal area, but my all time favorite was the 2 sides of the gear guy who like split open by Topaz-The-CrossCat, also that ending portion was dope and those players are gods.
I actually had this sort of idea for corrupted as a boss in my head with like a bunch of bosses (or at least they're attacks) all in one boss

Hey, so I don’t know if this is a secret or an unintentional thing, but at 8:04 you see project Arrhythmia’s cube in one of the laser beams at the right side, which quickly scurries out of view when we notice it. And at 8:08, at the top right corner of the waves, you see it hitting the top edge of the screen and going out of view again by going to the right edge of the screen instead.

Let's see, omega flowey is just the next level, some 3D manipulation for the boss to move front or back, cheese xd, a labyrinth where an AI is chasing you down (that thing may look simple but is complicated to code as heck xd) some conditional patterns that save and then repeat with the same player position and bullet behavior (like the load state of Omega Flowey), a chess like movement projectiles that hunt you down, a 3D boss maybe like a spiky sphere rotating (behaves like a 2D boss but it has 3D graphics xd) and that's all I can think of

This is truly amazing, I didn't even notice I was watching a colab half the time. Some attacks were unreasonably hard and some of the backgrounds were a bit too busy but I can ignore that. The alerts are fantastic, as expected, the sync was solid and the players were very well done. 9.5/10 one of the best of these on UA-cam
7:14 would have been a perfect place to re-introduce the kitty boss as having been watching the fight, and then joining in.
This project looks so nice! Amazing job for even getting the people to help you make this beauty of an animation

It was the perfect tutorial introduction. Showing you how to play the game. Yet here you are.
Reimagining this whole concept as a Boss Rush. I was swaying and humming along the song so much, trying to see through the patterns.
Damn, I might as well go blind after the third to fifth watch of this. But I just can't stop.
Everything moves so fluidly. Every character is unique and extraordinary. Their coloration and designs are just so memorable.
Truly a work worth every last sub you got.
