Ive used this technique using the DOA rootbeer/chartreuse 3inch shad with a 1/4oz jig head and have caught numerous tarpon and have gotten people to catch some too! They do love darker colors and the slow steady retrieve! Tight lines!

Really good advice Capt. Used to fish a spot very late at night in ft lauderdale. ONLY way to get bit was slow rolling a swimbait mid water during a moving tide. Landing was a diff story, those tarpon knew the drill lol.

I fished at Jensen beach on the treasure coast today the Tarpon are everywhere much bait near shore seems like Tarpon are lazy your right steady retrieve and small baits only thanks for video.
