The Ion mod for the blaster is also great against Jabba's guards with the halberds. You can't sneak attack them from behind without an item and the normal stun shot does pretty much nothing to them. And they take like 25+ regular blaster shots before they go down. But if you hit them with an ion shot, you can melee them and take them down in seconds.
There’s also a food buff for Nix that allows him to kick away grenades. I believe I received it on Toshara. It’s bailed me out already early on in tight areas.
I've had that thing activated the whole time and have never seen him kick one away and I always get hit with them lol I really wasn't sure if that thing worked but since it does for you then idk

I'm about 5 hours into the game and I'm still on toshara. I was given side two quests to hunt hidden treasure and spent about an hour on each before giving up. I've gotten the speeder upgrades and I'm now on the splicer mission. I'm still unable to do anything with my ship though. I'm doing a lot of exploring along with some missions. Toshara is a lot bigger than I thought it was. I've spent hours exploring and I only have about 20% of the map explored yet.
I have about double the game time as you and I'm still on toshara. Don't rush the story and do the side missions is my advice. There's a lot of fun little things that come up
I've discovered some kind of item I think is a major upgrade part inside the Imperial Wind Harvester for the mission "The Mechanic". It's at the part where you need to climb across a fan vent when it turns off. But across from the vent is a large pipe with a platform behind it that has the item on it. I think you have to climb into the vent and let it blow you across the gap onto the pipe, but it must need to be timed just right. I almost made it on my first attempt, still trying to get it since I don't know if you can come back. Curious if anyone else has found this?

Don't know who that is and don't care either. All I know if you look at my name you'll realize I hate everything this woke but this game besides kay being uglified which they definitely did! has nothing woke about it that I have seen and believe me I'm looking for it. My brother has UB plus so I figured I would try it since it cost me nothing and I'm actually surprised I enjoy the game. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion but I'm just saying honestly I have not seen anything woke in this game yet
@@chokethewoke3412 I've not seen anything overtly woke either, unless you count one of the character's being referred to by gender neutral pronouns, which I don't in this case. It's a subtle reference, it's not one of the "in your face, look at me, look at what we added" inclusions that I personally would consider woke. Overall I'm enjoying the game a lot.

That’s literally how I fight all enemies lol and I have perks for sprinting and takedowns which give life and fill adrenaline so it’s pretty fun

Main story line just play main quest. Eventually you'll unlock free roam with both ship and planets.

I found a ship upgrade in a chest on Tattooine I believe. Increases fire rate for ship
