Was there at the game and my God what an atmosphere
*Crazy to think this is St Louis' first MLS season and theyre already dominating the Western confrence!*
Now 2 months later the first seed in the western conference
💪💪..... Good win St Louis, You made it look easy .
the defending in this game was horrible
in all the games
STL defense was actually really good in this game until the last few minutes; and Roman Bürki had a bunch of really good saves too. At the end tho, the 90+ degree heat index caught up to them
Cascante of Austin, number 18, does not know how to defend lol. Austin have defensive issues that’s how they lost to a Haitian team lol
Austin had so many chances too tie smh
That atmosphere is intense!! Greetings from Brazil!
*St louis has so much depth, goals can come from any player. They dont rely on one player to do the goal scoring* 🔥
Unlike inter miami
@@yk.lE0💀
Let’s just say Austin has no defense
Miami has a strong defense, just so you know
I like watching St. Louis because there's almost always that one inexplicable move from their opponent that instantly sets up a goal for them. In this case, it was the final one. Even better, they don't even need those mistakes to win because they're a solid team.
It's so crazy that this keeps happening to them so regularly.
Two teams coming off of long breaks and a little rusty, super hot/humid night that sapped everyone's strength and made for a really sloppy second half.... but are we all not entertained?
Saint Louis play like a southamerican team, Id liked so much, Im from Argentina and this is my new team in the MLS
I would encourage you to check out STL Santos.
So much energy in that stadium!!
STL have *arguably* the best MLS atmosphere
@@vortexathletic fans*
Yah, sad when I have to refer Seattle to the newbies St. Louis, on how they should play at home games... Crowd hasn't been the same since the Rona madness
Very nice for MLS indeed, but stull nothing to italy, greece, netherlands
Maybe not but I know what you mean and enjoy Premier League soccer on TV here. St. Louis put 20,000 season tickets up for sale and had many turned away since they had requests for 60,000 season tickets. The stadium seats 22,500 so only 2,500 are not for season tickets. My son and his wife were fortunate to get free tickets from someone who could not make the game for fixing his home computer. They had a great time. St. Louis has had Catholic youth league soccer here since 1947 and now has the largest Bosnian immigration in the U.S.. That being said St. Louis could only get a team because the local owners of Enterprise car rental and others privately built a new soccer stadium. The was especially important after St. Louis mostly publicly funded a stadium for the St. Louis football Rams and was even willing to build yet another new football stadium but owner Stan Kroenke saw more TV market money for him in the much larger city of L.A. so he moved the Rams away. Lesson learned but at least they sued the NFL and got lawsuit money. . @@kingjojojo1
Wow it seems like soccer/football really start to gain traction in America, stadium is filled, and the vibe feels just like the top European leagues
Depends on the club. St. Louis has been great so far this year!
St. Louis has a soccer football history that can rival that of many European cities. The amateur St. Louis municipal league has existed since the 1890's. Matches between St. Louis University and Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville at Busch Stadium during the 1970s and 1980s drew crowds of 40,000 plus. St. Louis was home to one of the only two professional leagues in the U.S. at the time, the St. Louis Soccer League (1896-1933).
st louis only need to keep their possession stats up
@@michaelmcgowen8780that’s not true, the SLU vs SIUE games highest attended game was 22,500 and that was only once. I have no idea where you’re pulling 40,000 from that’s just not true.
Also, while the first city wide leagues is believed to have started in the 1890s your implication that the league still exists is incorrect too, it folded in the early 1900s and was replaced by another league which folded in the 1930s.
@@Khairan99 STL is built around the press and counter attack. Possession isn't their priority and they're perfectly happy letting the opponent control the ball near midfield in order to force mistakes in advantageous positions. It's worked darn well for them this season. It's partly why they've been scoring by committee all season
Normal MLS is back
Lowen 4 assists shows how vital he is to the teams creativity
when playoff comes, 1 or 2 vital players are injured and they probably choked
@@okasyaputra7523and yet they were missing key players all season and are in first in the West. What an idiotic take you have.
Nice one Lads ..Go city 👍🏴
I remember when I played FIFA with my little brother. I was scoring a lot of goals against him every match (well duh) and I was conceding goals on purpose so that he wouldn't be upset. Every match ended with scores like the result of this match 😂😂😂
@Louis-hj9qs boom boom 💣💣💣
English Premiere League vibes 🔥
English Premier League vibes 🔥
wow what an amazing compliment! as a fan who was at the game screaming my head off, I appreciate it
Prem had no vibes 😂😂 crowd are shite
Great chants, sound awesome
“In your head, in your head, Bürki Bürki Bürki!” 🎵🎶😂
ST Louis em sua primeira temporada na MLS é essa sensação, que atropelo.
Austin is so bad they make St. Louis look like Liverpool
theyre 5th in the west
that 4th goal for St louis was insane!
Tres dedos
Indeed it was.
Big Sam definitely deserved "Goal of the Matchday" on that one!
After a leagues cup flop from St. Louis they recover by abusing the worst MLS team lol
Austin was in 5th place at the time, now there 7th. They're still pretty good. Just a bad night for Stuver coming off a long lay off.
@@JiggaMayun yeah but, they lost to a Haitian team at CCL, lost to mediocres and worst Liga MX teams on group stage. So yeah, they ARE the worst MLS team not regarding their position.
@@JiggaMayun9th now after Dallas lol. Although we play STL tomorrow and I’m not sure how we’ll stack up, hopefully won’t get spanked like Austin did.
Pure chaos in the last 20 minutes, surely because of the weather.....it was SO hot out there tonight
87F/31C with 70%+ humidity @ 10pm. Welcome to St. Louis summers
This match was just crazy.
*THANK GOD FINALLY THAT RIGGED MICKEYMOUSE CUP IS OVER!*
*Looking forward to finally watching fair games with fair refs* 😊
There was nothing rigged about it. People are such crybabies about this stuff. My team (STL) got stomped and I'm not crying foul about it.
@@TheCrazyCloon yea, club america made stl look pretty shabby with their speed but it looks like STL was really fresh last night after their early bow out from the cup. Well, until the 87F/31C with 70% humidity night caught up with them sapped both defenses. That game got silly in the last 15 minutes!

Wow🔥
Players having fun. Great fans and atmosphere. Gonna watch more St Lunatics
STL has arguably the best fan atmosphere in the MLS! I know that STL let a couple go in at the end; but that 🎵 “In your head, in your head, Bürki Bürki Bürki!” 🎶 chant was pure gold! 😂
The real feel was like 100f/37c & the humidity swamp-ish. Sweating buckets out there.
@@denislemieux4915 yeah
Request to all Messi fans, don't watch only Messi games do support to all the games !
Even with the worst ref performance of all time STL still pulls out the W. When will they be held accountable for being so horrid at their job?
It’s was 100 degrees
Defending was terrible from both teams this game. Some good finishes regardless though.
yeah i’m chalking it up to being rusty from the break and it being nearly 100 degrees the whole game
Cascante has been absolutely shocking lmao
I saw my little nephew in the crowd! Yeah!! :D
These STL players can score some brilliant goals.
As a coach, after the first goal conceded, I would have replaced Stuver! unwatchable!
Wish they showed more saves from Burki and more chances from Austin. This game could've been easily 6-6 or an insane blowout for Austin if we didn't have a goalkeeping and defensive meltdown, and horrible tap-in misses.
And all that other stuff
Everybody was gassed on both sides of the pitch and rightfully so considering how hot it was and it’s the reason they started the game at near 10:00 pm since during the day it felt like 115 degrees and even during the game it still felt like 107 degrees so everyone was understandably sloppy in the second half and I totally get it.
@@BobbyBoucher228 Stuver got a rating of 3.0 No matter the temperature thats unnacceptable. Lowest out of any MLS player this week by 2 points. We are Texans, we play in the heat all the time, I get it, it was insanely hot, but that's insanity.
Que bonito el partido de tenis
Damn, a 6-3 match! St. Louis gave us a 5-star performance. This match felt like an attack vs. attack match, and we can see who was better on the night. The first goal was a superb free-kick leading to a header. The second goal was made from that fantastic assist. The third goal was just a masterclass. The fourth goal was top bins; the keeper was not reaching that. The fifth goal curved into the net. The last goal for St. Louis was a bad throw by the goalkeeper that got easily intercepted and went into the net. Austins' only real good moment was the pass on the second goal, not much else. Also, that save near the 60th minute from the St. Louis goalkeeper, with the Austin attacker right in front of him in a 1v1. As I said, a 5-star performance by St. Louis today! Great job!
@Louis-hj9qs I'm already Muslim brother, but thanks I guess.
Regardless of how well the game went, citys defense have to stop leaving burki on his own so much
Damn, St. Louis hits hard!
Wow. St Louis can score 😮
🔥🔥
What a game 9 goals 😮
Lol yes
We can all count too …
maybe the soccer club of Missouri should have their own version of Clasico or something simpler
Stuver is 🗑️
the raspberries had too much fertilizer
As a brit I'm loving the football i mean soccer😂
Defending optional
Man is that Kevin Patrick ??? He sounds so better better calling football than calling WWE
I like how the more biased announcer got quiet whenever STL scored.
St Louis are so efficient, especially in their attack. They always capitalize on their chances and finish them. This is why they have the most goals scored out of any other team in the MLS. Top of the league for a reason.
Austin need a new coach S O S its a shame team
He’s in your heeeeeead, he’s in your heeeeead. Burki, Burki, Burki-I-I!
Painfully bad defense from Austin
Disappointing Austin
Bro that Austin GK is absolute cheeks.
It‘s called Football
🕊️🇧🇩🕊️👁️🌴👁️⚽🗽⚽🗼⚽🗽⚽👁️🌴👁️🕊️🇧🇩🕊️🌴🐪
No defense on either side. It's like the NBA.
Nicholas Gioacchini needs another call up for the US. Potential Europe move in the future. He's young.
EDIT: Can we also acknowledge the amazing shot at 4:10 with the outside of his left boot? My goodness!
Austin GK so terrible
Man Adeniran is smoking, he won Goal of the matchday ahead of Gregus, Morris, Bogusz or Bernardeschi
tennis?
Are we still on the "opponents gift STL goals" train? I mean the last goal was a gift, but this is an all rounded team, they combine so well in the offence, and they have clinical players.
Finishing was insane for st Louis in this one! xG was like 1.4 according to FotMob. Austin was 3.5
Statue Defender
que quesos que son los de verde ATX messi y su inter de miami los pasa por arriba, ajjajja
Great Game! Some Great Goals and World class players! One of the Best MLS Games I've ever seen!!
No world class players,chill a lil bit:D
@@cristiciocan4752Löwen could easily be considered world class
what a game!
Austin fc vergüenza de la mls
Seattle could really have used Adeniran this season
Les dieron un baile!!!
El 18 de los verdes es un desastre de jugador.
😮
"Professional" soccer games do not end up 6-3. MLS is ridiculous.
Salary cap = Team owners prefer spending on attach rather than defense for the “show”. I don’t mind it, it’s more entertaining than tight draws 😅
Looks like ATXFC traded the wrong player. Instead of Fagundez it should've been Stuver smh...
Wolff is TOAST!
I love major league soccer, this game was not close but most are awesome!
A big score
St Lois is nice!
Biggest score since Nashville vs Cincinnati in 2021 TQL stadium.
Big Sam ❤
Wow
St Louis City, & St Louis FC is in Missouri state I thought St Loius is in California state no wonder there not part of the clasico agest the California club who play the Clasico
Wait until they play Bayern Miauwkee, Borussia Redskins
Major league soccer 😅😅😅😅 not football lol 😮😮
Goalkeeper had an absolute howler 😂 savage
I could watch this a million times over
No defense on this game
STL had some good defending for most of the game. But they kinda let off after having a 3-0 lead as well as the 90+ heat index
Boring, slow, not many goals. 🤣
finally after a long time 👉👈
as if its fifa!! game of the year!
Miami is waiting austin💥💥💥
Why does mls finishing looks like a Video game no other leagues shoots like this
advance league but poor quality
9 fakin goals.. ❤
As an Austin fan we are finished😭Need to sell most of the roster.
Just Stuver and get Djitte back from loan
defense seems not to be important in mls football(soccer)😄
it usually is but I think both teams were realllllly tired from it being 100 degrees the entire game with 72% humidity. I was at the game so I can vouch that it was unbearably hot and difficult to breathe
@@nataliemarie9775 it was 89 but with the humidity felt like 100
@@jasonhoffarth correct! thanks for clarifying my comment.
farmers league defending all over the pitch. some of these mistakes are just comedy.
Wtf is with those defenses 😂
STL had good defense in the first half, but they kinda let off after getting a 3-0 lead as well as the hot St. Louis evening
