- hi guys! welcome to my youtube channel, in this video I try to make a long coat wallet with the least amount of leather.

That brown layer was another type of leather like Camel leather and the reason I used it, was it was cheaper leather, and my primary leather type was not enough for the entire wallet, so I used camel leather leftover from the previous project.
The swing I used in this video was a regular sewing method used by most leathercraft artists, sewing with two needles and hands.
And the glue, It's a glue stick based on water.
Could I use leather scissors instead of a exacto blade and could I just use a file instead of a bevel
Leather scissors do not have the precision of a blade and I think that working with a blade is much easier than working with scissors.

If I want to present my templates on an A4 sheet, it may cause the templates not to fit completely on a single A4 page, and you would need to join multiple A4 sheets together to access the complete template.
However, I will make an effort to design future templates in the A4 size so that anyone who requires them can easily print them using their home printer.

Is the leather Chrome tan?

@@nirani5461 there are different types of tanning processes for leather. There is vegetable tan where the maker can tool the mother, carve it, stain it, paint it or wet mold it.
Chrome tan is a chemical process that is used after the leather is dyed. The leather can not be tooled, carved, stamped or wet molded.
There are several other types of tanning as well but these are the two most common methods.
Also, on chrome tan leather you can not burnish the edges nor stain the edges. The maker must use a edge coating/paint, as you did. Though there are makers who is the edge coating/paint on vegetable tanned leather project.
