king of greed by ana huang has a second chance trope!! I really liked it, I liked how it went in depth about the reason why they divorced but also showcased how much they needed each other and are able to overcome and set boundaries on what they expect after giving each other a second chance.
Is it better then King of Wrath? I didn’t carry on with the series because I hated the first one but now I’m curious if it gets better.
@@Aisha-ii8eipersonally wasn’t of a fan of King Of Wrath, however really enjoyed King Of Pride. I’ve heard mixed reviews on the third book though.

Also hearing about you book trope preferences reminded me of a book trilogy I’m currently reading. It’s called the binding chronicles by Elaynar Gallea. It’s arranged marriage with a morally grey Mmc and fits pretty well with the tropes you like and the ones that have to be done perfectly.
Just throwing out a book Rec because I was surprised by how much I’m enjoying it.

Welcome to UA-cam Eden! I usually think the same about the second chance romance trope but two books I loved were Before I Let Go by Kennedy Ryan and Before We Were Strangers by Renee Carlino. I recently read Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez which has the workplace romance and fake dating tropes and I loved it.

Btw totally agree about enemies to lovers, I feel like rivals to lovers is great but if it's full on enemies it really has to be fantasy or some setting where it makes sense and I need it to be done SO WELL for it to work. Not into them immediately not hating each other anymore less than halfway through the book I need it to be a development
