WIN. The band adds hints of accents here and there in just the right amount. Sounds a bit harder and heavier than the original, but stays right true to its roots. Fabulous. Stay gold.
@@johnwillemen6698 Yes, Samantha is very good indeed. I have one of her albums on vinyl. If you're not familiar with them, I recommend checking out Carolyn Wonderland and Sue Foley if you like a solid blues based sound. I like them even more than Ms. Fish. Of all the female fronted bands, I'm totally in love with Larkin Poe. They're the cat's meow. 😻
I'm sure she would agree one thing i've noticed about her over the years is shes not egotistical at all just paying tribute she once said she didn't like fronting or singing would rather just play guitar in the background but shes got a great voice
Is there a possibility to find the full concert anywhere because - at least for now I can't find it anywhere. If anybody know where to find it - I'll be thankful for any advice/help so much!
This was a little confusing to me because of all the shout outs ( in other comments here) to Stevie Ray Vaughn for writing this song. Marvin Gaye released (and co-wrote) a song called "Pride and Joy" in 1963 with completely different lyrics. I was 13 in '63 so I'm more familiar with Marvin Gaye. It's a great performance by Orianthi where she's lost her trademark hat and sunglasses and we can see her eyes.
very very good....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
I thought she played it just fine but, the hummbuckers were as lost in the mix as would be expected. I don’t know she didn’t switch to a Strat for the song.
A lot of notes in her solo's but not much soul. Misplacement of hardrock trickery isn't helping this song either. The band is a solid peace of work but can't prevent this from being an average cover. Listen to Stevie a couple of times and you'll understand.
Awesome! Next time do it with a strat. The hummbuckers just get lost lost in the mix for this song. It’s really noticeable when the other guitarist takes a lead for a few bars.
Ori over cooked this one with too many speedy licks. The song is a lazy shuffle, not speed metal.
I do admire her talent, don't get me wrong...
Yes! I love it. Great cover Orianthi. Keep Stevie's spirit and the blues alive. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
One of the best in the world...totally in a class of her own...nailed it.
So nice to see Orianthi without a hat covering her beautiful face.
No one can quite do a SRV but this is bloody good stuff
srv did not look good in kneehigh boots...just saying
Each year the best female musician.Amazin.From Austin,Texas.
She’s not from Austin, she’s from Australia…
@@JamesFolkers Thanks bro
she's beautiful, great guitarist and singer, simply fantastic.
You like what you like and i like it ,great guitarist.
WIN. The band adds hints of accents here and there in just the right amount. Sounds a bit harder and heavier than the original, but stays right true to its roots. Fabulous.
Stay gold.
Арчёнок, ты супер 👍👍👍
Ori is definitely one of the best guitarists playing today. It's a pleasure to hear her play guitar. 👍👍👍👍👍
check out Samantha fish she also very good

@@audiophileman7047 thanks for suggestion
@@johnwillemen6698 Sure, you bet, John.
Vocals are more than acceptable.
Nice, hard driving tune.
It's an okay cover, To the idiots saying she nailed it go listen to the master SRV and see how it's really done
I'm sure she would agree one thing i've noticed about her over the years is shes not egotistical at all just paying tribute she once said she didn't like fronting or singing would rather just play guitar in the background but shes got a great voice
Hace 10 minutos que fue la primera vez que la escuché, está despegada🚀🚀🤟🤟
Man she can play !!!!!
Jerry Roe smacking. thanks for sharing.
i like her hair cut...-play like heel, she got the bleu's...
Oranthi and PRS! What a combo 4 shure!

Great SRV cover from a great guitar player!!!... Anyway, SRV was UNIQUE!...
Ее гитара это цвет deep purple❤

Черный играл как хорошо пел
Wow.

absolute top !
Fantastic Playing 👍👍🙏
She’s got great singing chops on top of great guitar playing & just beautiful to look at too!
Her guitar is almost as pretty as she is..and shes super cute. She is at her best in the faster tunes...gal can play.
Orianthi has the gift, she just needs to slow her roll. Pick your zip lady!!
Take that!
Very good Speed rocker, can tear it up on the neck.
Needs to use alittle finesse, and to pull the blues out from her soul.
Will be watching her
Well now...👍
very very good....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
What's not to like?
nice version...need SRV back
Is this Stevie Ray Vaughan....Yes She Is !!
Not hardly
SRV was in another league to her it's a embarrassment to SRV memory
Nosso,muito bommm
Brilliant 😽⭐️💕🦁🎸
Cooolll
A+
Had no idea she could sing. Thought she was just a badass guitar player. Flippin' sweet!
According to you.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
No doubting her talent but she is basically a good cover band guitar player/singer. Hopefully for her, time and her growth prove me wrong.
She takes total command of this song.
The other guitarist had better feel for this song.
Nobody asked you
@@ClarkCarr1 This is a comment section, right?
ОХРЕНЕТЬ!!!
1:55!
Never allow another guitarist the front especially when they are better than you!
Hell yeah!
SRV on legs yeahhhhh babes got the rhythm 🎸🤘🏼😎
С пед лучше,?!!!!!
Yeah she is bad ass...but i prefer stevies timing
Really beautiful woman but no nuance or feel. God I miss Stevie…
She's a shredder , not for blues style.
Yeah that wasn't really blues now was it?
I thought she played it just fine but, the hummbuckers were as lost in the mix as would be expected. I don’t know she didn’t switch to a Strat for the song.
She has no feel just piles on notes after notes after notes with no meaning to them no structure to her playing
@@donjohn2695 Exactly!
Very good player, " fast" just needs alittle finesse
Good work, but the Strat player killed her tone, hands down.
Ок только не рокнрол

Tries to do too much.
everything is fine, but chewing gum in her mouth is ruining the song
She is a very generic guitarist but this cover is not too bad.
Good but she's a bit overrated.....
fürchterlich
Looks like huckleberry hound in drag!
glad she took the stupid hat off
But isn't it Joe Satriani playing with her?
She’s rockin that Orianthi signature guitar. I wanted one of those so bad !
Man can This cool lady do the blues and play a guitar..keep going girl
Awesome! Next time do it with a strat. The hummbuckers just get lost lost in the mix for this song. It’s really noticeable when the other guitarist takes a lead for a few bars.
Like the Strat sound added to the mix. Well done.
she is badass for sure but to me cant beat the tone of a strat type guitar
Good stuff, but not nearly as good as SRV.
The game does not cling. Notes set.
Good to see, she has got rid of the HAT....!
This sexy women is a true rock star. She played for Michael Jackson!
audience dead or something?
I love Orianthi
What only a life-giving "square" of 4 chords does not do with music =)!!! They are beautiful! And music and Orianthi! Come on, girl, burn even cooler!
Huh?
What a lucky small size audience. Band sounded good too.
Loved her from the start now she has developed into a true leader
Love the neck of her guitar
That other guitar player is a very tasteful player!
She Is fantastic And very, very good.
Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
Too bad her and Sambora broke up. But Sambora just uses people anyway. 😢 So it's probably for the best. She is a rocker This performance proves it!
Same old licks
Yep gotta love 'em!!
! Her singing is really getting good. And I hope she loses that hat.
Most massive fake eyelashes ever.
That's the Queen of the blues right there.
She has pretty much has the whole package. Very, very good.
THREE guitars?! I don't think so. False prophet.
Another great Australian serving it up to the masses.
Wonderfull music uns wonderfull Lady playing the blues
