I love my 12 x 14 gelli plate so much that I haven't touched my 8 x 10 for years! One of the best investments I've made!

Tissue, deli, craft, newsprint, all the best goodies in the world with the Gelli plate! Get the bigger one Tiff, so much fun, you get a mad build up around the edges, which creates even more fun. I can’t play at the moment, broke my left arm just above the wrist, hand immobilised, frustrated, losing my mind, but hey I can watch you in action, lol!!!

Im with you on the white border, thats why i bought the 12x14 gel press plate. Only one I use now...even tho I have 6 others!!!!! Great prints, love em.

Delicious papers, Tiffany! I haven´t got a gelli plate, but I paint, smosoh and do a lot of things to my papers. I also use plastic mats as "plates". I think I need to eat; just look were this comment is heading, lol! Take care & stay safe, Fia xx

Yes!!! Gelli plate is amazing
@southergalsdesigns The tissue paper from dickblick.com works perfectly for this, also for painting it with a brush or brown.
You want to use a piece of palette paper or a trash bag for it to dry on, you gently spritz tissuepaper,paint it with a thinned down wash of paint and you will have a beautiful piece of tissue with texture and color-i use Golden paints .
I have to try your version on the gelli plate.
But the kind of tissue similar to deli paper you can get at Dickblick.com🤗🎨

Dick Blick sells a 21 x 16 I think it was. It’s over $100 though. Ouch! Was just eyeballing it last week (Oct 2020) so it’s probably still available.

There's even bigger than 12x12. I cut the white strips off and use them as mop up papers.
I don’t like the white border either, so I use a 9 x 12 which I love

Lukas it’s the richest deep blue I’ve ever seen. The pigment is amazing and it’s thick and creamy. Totally sounds like a rich dessert 😀
