- What Does Clayton, Panama REALLY Look Like?
The Clayton in Panama used to be a US military base and today is home to NGOs like the UN and the Red Cross. The City of Knowledge is also there. Clayton provides multiple restaurants and schools with international schedules, and a mix of single family homes and some apartment buildings.
Panama's Ciudad del Saber (Spanish for City of Knowledge) is a government-sponsored cluster of academic organizations, technology companies and non-governmental organizations, managed by the foundation of the same name. It is located just across the Miraflores locks, in what used to be United States Army South headquarters, Fort Clayton.

I was stationed at Howard, but also visited Clayton. I'm glad that the Air Force Base and the
Army Post homes are lived in.
crazy question but I see a lot of garbage bags even though people have cans. How often dd they pick up trash in Clayton?

It used to be where the US military lived/base so it has an American feel for sure.
