something about these 4 guys still being together and playing this particular song live out somewhere in the world brings a smile to the teenager in my heart.
I saw poison twice ! Let me tell you, I didn’t realize how great a guitarist CC was until I saw them live. I’m a guitarist , and yes sometimes he throws a little bit too much of the trills in, but it is his style. But from the standpoint of speed and clean shredding he is top notch !
Bro, he was my first ever guitar hero. It was CC Deville...Slash...Scotti Hill & Snake Sabo from Skid Row..that's my big influences in my first couple of years teaching myself on a $70 second hand Strat copy (I worked a summer job to pay for). When Hair Metal had it's sudden death, and Grunge took it's place seemingly overnight...my still developing musical taste and tone as a player took new influences like the grittier, dirtier and rougher- less polished - sound of Pearl Jam, Nirvana..and the Space Punk "wall-of-fuzz" sound* of the Smashing Pumpkins...and the synth-y harsh as nails sounds coming from Nine Inch Nals' keyboards /computers/ God knows what else...all coalesced to form my - somewhat unique, if don't say so myself - approach to music, songwriting, writing riffs/solos/ breakdowns - or what-have-you. It's still all a bit of a jumble in my mind's eye, as I try to envision whatever music I'm trying to express. But..even though I've written songs with not only no guitar solos, but also no guitar at all(!) , my very first rock music influence will always be CC Deville. And I don't always need to jazz up a rock song I may be working on, with sections of gnarley fuzz riffage to equip it with street cred for the "Alternative" crowd - or some filthy synth dub step section (tho, I do do these things!!)..often a straightforward shred solo on my Charvel, with big bends, harmonics, dives, tapping, sweeping, arpeggios and long/fast runs both ascending and descending (basically, playing like CC!,) is just the ticket. It's awesome! Who doesn't love to plug a Charvel..or Kramer, Jackson - some EVH Frakenstrat variant, with a Floyd rose and a humbucker -into a cranked Marshall /Peavey / Mesa/ENG/Soldano ..whatever it is, a "British" style amp - and cut loose with your most kickarse tricks n' licks..??! (Sorry, I totally got carried away with them "member berries", making this comment! Hopefully there are a couple of things in there that you relate to...!).
CC looks - and sounds - better than he ever did!👏 🙌😌 > Homage to my first ever guitar hero - and still holder of my all time favourite solo by any player, genre and era (Life Goes On). *"Light it up, CC!"*
I literally have not watched a video of the band in concert since 1990, and I’m shocked at how good they look and sound. I was SURE CC was going no where fast back then, I’m glad to see him relevant.
This is the best live performance of the song of the recent year, they used to play it too fast and over shread the guitar parts like in the st. louis show in 2009, this version is by far the best of the 2000's Poison
Still faith ac dc recently made a new album and I’m pretty sure they officially split after Malcolm Young died, so if they can do that got faith in Poison
So much positive energy! Damn I wish I remembered how they sounded when I saw them during the Open Up tour. I think they have gotten better! When I get depressed this song always brings me out of the funk. I really need to listen to it more often.
I am thankful CC has turned his life around for the better, it's a blessing and Amen he has faced his demons and continues to rock it! CC Deville you rock my world 😎💓you are such a personable kind soul with a hilarious personality. I think you are very Hansome, hot & sexiest man alive ❣BTW I am NOT some crazy fan, just a country gal & single businesswoman. Your guitar playing is so incredible with very unique qualities which are truly underestimated! C.C. DeVille dating history Who is he dating right now? According to our records, C.C. DeVille is possibly single. OMG I totally would be indebted if I could meet this man!!!!
Sorry didn't happen but it's sure going to happen in 2022! They had to postpone to this year cause of covid, so me and my dad for sure are going to go!
Yeah bobby on bass. He's definitely looking much older than the rest, maybe he is but I don't know for sure. But yes that him on bass. I didn't recognize him at first either.
Saw the Vancouver show......Poison and Def Leppard performed had the best performance......Even tho we went to see Motley they had the worst performance....the mix had so much treble that I had to wear earplugs to tone it down
Few 80's bands look and sound this good nowadays - well done Poison.
The band and the crowd had so much energy last night! It was not only a good time but a great time!

Just like the song everyone is having a good time!!! 80's music are very damn good! One of it is Poison!
Finally. CC played the original solo.
Omg someone noticed
Yesssssss. Dude he NEVER played it live before. I think he was possibly high af then and maybe a bit more sober here?
It’s not the true original but it’s closer than he’s ever played it before
CC Looks Badass with his long straight hair. What a guitar legend..
Original for first few notes then noodling. It’s an extremely hard solo to play
Thank God these 4 guys still stick around and make travelling in time possible...80's will rock forever
God bless Poison! Such a great band!
CC looks - and sounds - better than he ever did!👏

Poison always put on a killer show.
Still REALLY rocking it. Actually a lot better than first time around. Well done guys! Smiles on everyone’s faces!

Damn I pray that these guys do one more original album before they call it a day.
Still faith ac dc recently made a new album and I’m pretty sure they officially split after Malcolm Young died, so if they can do that got faith in Poison
They have stayed in shape. True Entertainers.

I wish they´d come to Charlotte some time
I am thankful CC has turned his life around for the better, it's a blessing and Amen he has faced his demons and continues to rock it!

C.C. DeVille dating history
Who is he dating right now?
According to our records, C.C. DeVille is possibly single. OMG I totally would be indebted if I could meet this man!!!!
I Miss poison😭
Eres un tipo genial, todo el éxito para la banda por muchos años más
Cc f'n rocks!!
This is good shit original members are hard to find in older bands.
Brett knows each and every one of the crowd, thats impressive
I’m going to see these guys with Def Leppard, Motley Crue, and Joan Jett and I love all those bands including Poison! So I’m damn excited!
And it will be my first time seeing all those bands live same for my dad!
That's awesome I'm jealous I wish I was going hope you guys have a great time
I’m going in June!!
Sorry didn't happen but it's sure going to happen in 2022! They had to postpone to this year cause of covid, so me and my dad for sure are going to go!
when he speaks into the mike.. he sounds a touch like Elvis..
ESSA MÚSICA É ÓTIMA !

That concert was on my 12th birthday
Bret loves to do the ‘crowd point’ doesn’t he 😂😂👍🇦🇺🍻
I'm seeing them with motley Crue june 19 I'm fucking excited

Dana Carvey really can shred that thing 🤘🏽
GREAT video!!!! What camera do you use??!
best LA fuckin' Metal
If only Mötley Crue had half of Poison´s energy on stage...
holy Fuck!!!
C.C. has those glowing teeth...lol
Bobby Dall looking homely LOL
what guitar does he use
Porque hablara tanto
Kip winger on bass, and billy ray Cyrus on lead..
The 80s was about having a good time, the 90s about having a depressive time, the 2000s about having likes and followers??
not every 2000s song is about likes and follows
@cherenquista -- Wow... that was profound and true. Wish I could triple thumbs up you!
And dudes in suits afraid to jump at a fuckin rock concert!!! Not me - I’m jumpin the whole damn time!! Rock on!
You nailed it bro
We're are in the 20s
Who is hiding behind the speaker???
Live keyboardist
Ryan T , yeah they finally got a shot of him, just for a sec, I could see it is a keyboardist.
that was the best live version cept for Brett's lame rap thing.
For some reason CC reminds me of Tom Petty in this video.
Is that Bobby Dall?????????????
Yeah bobby on bass. He's definitely looking much older than the rest, maybe he is but I don't know for sure. But yes that him on bass. I didn't recognize him at first either.
Cc
I get they are getting a lot of criticism but they're doing way better than G'N'R for example
Saw the Vancouver show......Poison and Def Leppard performed had the best performance......Even tho we went to see Motley they had the worst performance....the mix had so much treble that I had to wear earplugs to tone it down
So much better than crue. Poison should share top bill with leppard not crue.
still sound great not like Vince from crue he gets worse but i still love the Crue
Is it me or does CC look like a pirate?
C.C Sucks I Love Ritchie Kotzen
