    Thanks for bringing @Toluthemidwife. As a nurse who intentionally chose mental health/psychiatry over midwifery, the joy with which she spoke almost made me think of pursuing midwifery again. God bless you for all the work you do in the life of the women and babies you support during one of the most critical seasons of life. God bless Due Parenting Pod too for bringing valuable guests.

    I learned alot from this episode 😊thanks to our delectable host and the beautiful soft-spoken Tolu ❤ pls can we also get an education o how to manage new body/healthy changes for first time mums, some women develop life long challenges and they don't know how to manage it, some people develop back ache, weak muscles, skin changes, it will be great if we can have someone talk to us about this changes. Thanks 😊

      I am so glad we are not alone and knowing that so many of us go through these things is very encouraging. I wish more women would share their experiences and the tricks and tips they picked up
      We are stronger together

    so I loved this episode and I have a comment on Ibrahim. I love that he is a supportive husband and dominates conversations a lot of the times...however, , there are topics he needs to let Ihuoma take the lead on and really go in. I didn't like how even in the breastfeeding topic, he cut in a lot, especially because only her could have been able to express the pain, emotions etc that it brings. This is not a dig at IB, I just feel he should be more attentive to know when to take more of a back seat in some conversations

      Hi Theresakola6562
      Thank you for being so supportive and for taking out time to give feedback.
      Ibrahim felt particularly shook by the breastfeeding pressure I was under, especially because there was nothing he could do to help so he had a lot of questions so he can be better prepared next time to help me during that stage of the journey.
      I think as women, we should be proud that men in 2024 are trying to step out of being aloof about these things. If they are more involved, it will make life easier for their women. So yeah, he was VERY attentive and asking questions to build his knowledge. I am grateful for him.

      Exactly my point, thank God I'm not the only one person that said and noticed it.nothing is wrong for IB to know or learn but Linda should have been the lead on the Convo,cuz she alone experienced, feel the pregnancy she can tell better not IB, he's just a good support system, Listener and caring husband.t
      here's is alot of Linda should have asked that we women would have loved to learn, cuz it's coming from a
      Once pregnant to a now a mother. IB can hold more conversation about being a good supportive,understing and caring husband and fatherly roles.

      @@LindaEjioforSuleiman I'm happy you are and this is no dig at him at all. I know too well how lucky we are to have supportive husbands, I still stand on my opinion on just some topics, not all that your perspective as the woman should project more. There are also topics that he should project more and that is why I mentioned an example like the breastfeeding. I hope you understand that and not try to take this as someone coming for your dynamic or man. This is on my view on this episode in particular.

    Plz why is Ibrahim asking the questions Ihuoma suppose to ask as a woman and a mother, my fav Ihuoma plz leave phone and ask more questions as a woman and mom, you had the experience as a mother not Ibrahim,I understand he's a supportive and caring husband but plz ask our motherly questions.T for tnx❤❤

      @@chisomifediozo6388 you said till the end,why till the end.Linda supposed to hold the Convo not Ibrahim, I watched till the end and yes she picked up, but Ibrahim did 70per of the talking from part A to B.thats on period

    • @callistaolebara34
      @callistaolebara34 9 місяців тому +5

      Is it a crime for him to want to know? I don't understand? You can clearly see he is fascinated and wants to clearly understand these things. This space is a space of positive energy. It's not bad for a man to want to understand childbirth.

      @@callistaolebara34 and do what with it my darling? Is Ibrahim going to carry a pregnancy?. My point is Linda supposed to hold the conversation rather Ibrahim did, Ibrahim can learn from the answers and ask few questions but Ibrahim was doing all the talking and question especially part A even the part B it's at the end she picked up.plz, you're neither Ibrahim nor Linda, it's my opinion and it's left for Linda/Ibrahim to accept it or not, stop taking paracetamol over another headache.FULLSTOP and have a nice Easter celebration.chai chai
