Lightsaber training may have made me tear up--especially when Yoda spoke--and the instructor was awesome! Also, kudos to the Lieutenant for interacting in a kid-friendly way yet staying in character! Looking forward to seeing the rest of your adventures--and yes, Peter absolutely needs to do the training next time!
So love how he snuck in saying “engage” during the light saber training. His commitment and enthusiasm is great. Always for defense...never for attack. I am one with the Force...and the Force is with me.
I had a 10-minute debate with Croy in the Sublight Lounge. He said the First Order prevented chaos in the galaxy. I said that every planet had the right of self-determination.It was great.
I'm obsessed with this for all the wrong reasons. This whole thing sounds like my own personal nightmare: rooms with no windows, needing to be places at certain times(during a 'vacation'), having to interact with cast members, all for the low price of a two week vacation in Mexico including flights, rental car and all inclusive resorts. 🤣
To be fair, Galactic Starcruiser wasn't advertised as like a relaxing hotel to stay at compared to the other hotels/resorts around or in the parks 😅 If I had even remotely the kind of finances to afford this I'd barely be able to contain myself 😭
I absolutely adore the light saber trainer. He's definitely a Jedi. I also have loved how much Kitra got into this & her passion during this excursion. This is the way.
Lower the price, or make it a flat cabin fee of like $3000 for any number up to five. That would help families and encourage paying for the awesome merchandise, or adding days for the other parks/resorts.
@@hanonondricek411 I am truly hoping it ends up like a Crusie ship were prices fluctate. Nobody pays full list price for a cruise. They have sales and different rates all the time. Cause I really would like to be able to afford to go.

So far loving your review. One thing I would do different is Ren and chewie, with the connection to batuu you now got several Rey and Ren interactions. Some other heroes would be cool, Finn or Poe, Phasma or Old Luke. That said, the first order lieutenant is awesome.
Honestly what sold me on this is the actors. The lightsaber trainer is the best that I saw, Gaya is great, and that First Order officer is having a ton of fun. I hope the actors are getting paid well because they are making the experience (for me)!
LIGHTSABER TRAINING!!!!!! I’ve been waiting for this! I love how they incorporate things on an actually cruise on our planet at sea. I’ve been watching these videos in envy. Lol you guys look like you had so much fun. Bring on day 2 part 2! May the force be with you.
Thanks for sharing the video! There’s no doubt that it looks cool and fun just like you’d expect from a Disney park. However, now seeing the food, activities, entertainment, lightsaber training, LARPing, et cetera, there’s still no justification for that hefty $4800-$6000/2 night price tag. Also, they should’ve had a full alien band playing on stage while Gaya performed. The Atrium looks like the Enterprise😳. The bar was incredibly small, and how can they only have ONE Sabacc table?!?!? Disney said these things were going to be part of Galaxy’s Edge. Now it’s behind a $4800-$6000 price wall. Nevertheless, I’m sure I’d also thoroughly enjoy the experience if I got to go for free🤷🏻♀️.
The instructor had so much energy it was awesome. They need more workers like that who are super enthusiastic, he was making sure everyone was having fun and learning how to swing a lightsaber.

So many comments, hoping you see this one. I am a true Disney fan and lifelong Star Wars fan. I always look at the bright side, take what we love as a family and leave the rest. I will say that your channel has become a fav of mine, you both are just wonderful in so many ways. With that pretext I will say that I was soooo glad Disney invited you for the full experience because I knew you would be as honest and insightful as “possible” and you did not disappoint. The cost of this is possible for us but we have so many things that are more important that we should spend our funds on so if we choose to experience what we think would be an adventure of a lifetime together I couldn’t bear extreme disappointment and the financial guilt that would come with it. That being said thanks for your videos and I can’t wait for the final installment. I am atleast satisfied that at the price point I will not be heartbroken as I thought I would to put it on the shelf for a bit (hoping they add a night to take the pressure off allowing some downtime to create memories as a family that aren’t quite so linked to the “game” that follows the ship wide storyline. We love our merch and the chance to play and enjoy and even experience our outfits on the ship seem rushed to enjoy). For us it would be a onetime with no return trip and it seems as it is now I would leave feeling a bit dissatisfied. But who knows 😉 Will wait and see your final video.
Glad to see they have traditional breakfast items, most importantly Coffee. Lol. The transport shuttle to Batuu would have been better if it looked like the Star Tours ride interior to kind of bring it all together
I cannot express enough of how much of an amazing job you two are doing covering this event. This may be your best series yet. Fantastic job. Well done. This series gets an Ordinary Adventures Star. PS: seeing Kitra soak up the magic of the lightsaber training experience, face lit up just as bright as the lightsaber and smiling throughout the whole thing… after all you’ve both been through this past year. It really brought tears of happiness to me eyes for her. Very underrated moment amidst the extensive and wonderful footage.
I'm so looking forward to you being able to go on the paying passengers voyage and being able to compare the two. So glad you get to do both and take us along. 💖💖 -Aimee
I love seeing this stuff through y'alls unique and fun perspective. Your videos are like no one else's. I love how the cast pays attention to everyone, but especially the kids. I wasn't sold on the Galatic Starcruiser at first but seeing y'alls adventure definitely changed that. I can't wait to see the Inagural voyage!
These videos have me absolutely fascinated! Disclaimer- I'm not particularly into Star Wars. I have a basic understanding of the stories (at least who are the good guys and who are the bad guys), but have never had much of a desire to watch the movies. That being said what I am is a theater girl and this idea of a completely immersive 2 day theatrical experience excites me. It's the same reason I get a huge kick out of Galaxy's Edge. The storytelling is so awesome that this non-Star Wars fan has bought a porg and a droid! It might be a one and done thing for me, but I'll definitely have to board the Starcruiser some day.
Same the theater girl in me wants to do this. (I spent a decade acting and singing and dancing originating musical theater in San Diego.) This sounds like fun! BUT not $6k worth of fun, unfortunately. If this was a luxury hotel with add on mission experiences, I would be down!
I am kinda the same! I would love to experience this even though I know little to nothing about Star Wars. I saw a bit of Star Wars as a kid but I was too young to really focus on it. I watched a few of the new movies that they started creating since 2015: The Force Awakens, Rogue One, The Last Jedi, The Rise of Skywalker. And I gotta say, I'm still pretty confused on a few things. This is one of those franchises I wish I payed more attention to as a kid, as I am faced with the intimidating task of trying to play catch-up with a 40 + year franchise ontop of watching the new Disney plus shows they are adding lol. I'd rather just dip in and out of it for now. My saving grace would be finding a spouse who is heavily into it so he could teach me everything. I feel the same way with Marvel Comics.
I love the coverage, Kitra and Peter. As a major introvert I don’t find all of that immersion appealing though. But I can see how many people would enjoy the experience.
I’m curious how everyone says that light saber training and the bridge training are “required.” I think I would like the bridge thing but I have no interest in the light sabers. What happens if you don’t go?
You guys are doing such a great job showing the pros and cons. And obviously you're also having a ton of fun. I don't understand why positivity and fun are seen as bad things. Disney isn't holding a gun up to your head and forcing you to have fun. These are your genuine reactions, and seeing kitra especially love the bar and Gaia and her experience with the lightsaber trainer it all looks like such a great spectacle. Still a little too expensive for my tastes, but I'm glad I get to vicariously enjoy things through this channel. Thanks for sharing your experience. Looking forward to watching the finale tonight!
It’s all soooo cool! But one of my favorite parts was the Lieutenant and that little first order sympathizer. He did a great job staying in character and also engaging so nicely with the little guy! These cast members have the coolest job!
I think the transport pod is where it kind of fell short a bit like you said Peter. There's no windows into space, it's a bit bumpy and what ever happened to the physical Droid that was supposed to be driving? I think maybe this would be better suited as a mini preset railway as opposed to a box truck, but it was probably cause of budget and logistics.
Yeah, I thought this would be more like a Hogwarts Express ride. Seems like a missed opportunity, but I guess not enough people will ride it to sink big money into it.
@@jennycraigadventures3314 Universal would I feel. I hope Epic Universe does something like this eventually. When brands compete there's chance for evolution and progress.
Agreed. The kid that told the First Order Lieutenant, "Why should I tell you?" After he asked his name. 👌Kids my only hope. My hero!. Beautiful response as well. Well done. In Star Wars terms... So Wizard!
You had a great group of actors on your cruise. The First Order guy was my favorite. It’s gotta be fun to play the bad guy. I’m interested in seeing a different path than the Resistance in the future. I think think the First Order path would be so much fun.
Call me crazy but I think Kitra did do the first order path , she disappeared during the whole free the droid and was a little offish to me where she was during it .... perhaps we will find out on the 3rd video :-) ... would be perfect if she did , she do the first order and peter did the resistance and not tell him hehehehe .
It seems alot more immersive than I thought. I like how it weaves individual stories and the overall story arc. Those kids are scene stealers! love it!
I just love you guys. I have been on bed rest after my surgery and you have made me laugh and smile each vlog. I love how Kitra is so happy and her heart is so full of love and wonderment like a child. I love her love for dancing and Chip and Dale. Also Peters knowlege on all things. He reminds me of my late dad. Its so nice that you bring a friend on most of your adventures. Well bravo thank you for always keeping things exciting. Won't name them. But some channels are getting burnt out and its showing. Maybe the people who have been doing this for many many years are burnt out and should take a break. Focus on other things get refreshed with new ideas. Til then your my main channel..😘❤❤❤❤love you guys and thank you.
I just adore how you guys film everything and how you edit these videos. Most don't realize how much work goes into editing alone. You guys were the 1st videos of the Starcruiser we watched and most definitely the best I've seen so far. I like how you broke them up too. Looks like y'all had a blast, I know this was a Star Wars dream come true.
So far your all’s videos our by far my favorite coverage of this, I am such a huge Star Wars fan and absolutely love seeing other people geek/nerd out on anything Star Wars like I would, I would definitely be freaking out on everything like this too
I think if the characters were to know about the storyline that there should be certain ones with some sort of small pin or badge on them to let you guys know you can talk to them about the missions and such!
That sounds like a great idea. But honestly, it should be pretty easy to clue them all in, and they can see the guest badge, so they won’t be confusing ordinary park guests…
I feel like this is a total spoiler review for me than I remember I’m never paying that much to do this so I continue watching. Your coverage is very in depth. Hats off to both of you. 👊
So happy you both got to experience and share this with us! Deservedly so! And it's really cool to watch this video and compare with other vlogger's (I recognized in the background) perspective and angles. Love you guys!
My son and I are enjoying all the videos ❤️ hope some day I can take him . The cost does need to go go down , if they want people to add on days at Disney n purchase merchandise. I’m glad y’all are enjoying your trip and sharing it with the rest of us .
Amazing!!!! Honestly love all the data pad stuff, but totally get wanting more person to person interaction on Batuu. Seems like a major oversight for the CPs to not get the memo about the Halcyon pins + storyline, but I assume there will be some training to fix that shortly if it hasn't been fixed all ready 😶😶😶
you two gave me a new hobby spotting you in other people's videos. JoJo's videos has some nice footage of you and it has a nice shot of the camera you are using

3 Days in a row. You guys are the best. I’m glad you guys had fun. And I love how you guys stayed in Character. Enjoy the Little things.
☺️ one more coming
So much fun. The little boy t the end was adorable 🥰. Thank you so much for this anything but ordinary adventure 👍😎😎🌈😉
Thanks Victoria
Agreed. The kid that told the First Order Lieutenant, "Why should I tell you?" After he asked his name. 👌Kids my only hope. My hero!. Beautiful response as well. Well done. In Star Wars terms... So Wizard!
The lightsaber instructor killed it. Put him in a movie.
Totally. He was amazing. Deserves a raise
Honestly being a cast member on this experience must be a blast.
Thanks for the video
Aloha, Watching you all perform the Lightsaber Training was AWESOME...I need to do THAT!!!! Great Job!
👽✨👏
Your vlogs on this experience have been so in depth and enjoyable to watch, your passion is infectious! 🥰
Thanks so much ☺️
Thank you for sharing. It’s great to have a look into how they pulled off this experiment. Thanks for going so I can save my thousands. 🙌🏻
Thanks for watching Michael
You had a great group of actors on your cruise. The First Order guy was my favorite. It’s gotta be fun to play the bad guy. I’m interested in seeing a different path than the Resistance in the future. I think think the First Order path would be so much fun.
Call me crazy but I think Kitra did do the first order path , she disappeared during the whole free the droid and was a little offish to me where she was during it .... perhaps we will find out on the 3rd video :-) ... would be perfect if she did , she do the first order and peter did the resistance and not tell him hehehehe .
Just got off yesterday and my son went First Order. He had a completely different experience than me and his sister! So fun!
I couldn't help but notice, there is nothing negative at all in your comments section. How wonderful for you.
Oh there are definitely some negative comments but we have a great community
Aww that was so special! Love that he picked Kitra as well she is amazing 💕
🥰
the actor for the first order lieutenant is PHENOMENAL. he’s so entertaining!!
💯
My favorites on the same shuttle. Ordinary Adventures and Dis Unplugged. I knew I heard Kitra's laugh in their video. Awesome video as always guys!
I saw them in dis unplugged’s video and had to process it. I now watch other videos to find the Kitra and Peter.
It really gives an extra element to this series: where's Craig and Denny?
It seems alot more immersive than I thought. I like how it weaves individual stories and the overall story arc. Those kids are scene stealers! love it!
So the special greeting to the fancy star cruisers from Hondo was super cool.
Loved that
I just love you guys. Til then your my main channel..😘❤❤❤❤love you guys and thank you.
a PHOTO SHOOT??? This is the 1st I've heard of it. Great coverage OA!!!
Thanks!
You guys are so good at the interaction with the characters 🥰🥰
😁 thank you
❤ Omg Kitra!!! I'm tearing up watching your emotional light saber training experience!! Wow!! What an EXTRA Ordinary Adventure!!
😭 thank you
There are other videos going around of the First Order Officer and the kid. They formed a bond throughout the trip. It’s amazing.
I would have cried in training....excellent job keeping it together, Kitra!!!
This was so much fun to watch. The Force was strong with Kitra.🥰👍🏼 Thank you for sharing 📸💖🪄🌌
🙌
Thank you
So happy you both got to experience and share this with us! Deservedly so! And it's really cool to watch this video and compare with other vlogger's (I recognized in the background) perspective and angles. Love you guys!
😁
My son and I are enjoying all the videos ❤️ hope some day I can take him . The cost does need to go go down , if they want people to add on days at Disney n purchase merchandise. I’m glad y’all are enjoying your trip and sharing it with the rest of us .
Hahah I know the lieutenant is the bad guy but hes so funny every time he shows up.
😂 he was great
I just love how much the characters engage but especially with the kids! They definitely love messing with the LT.
The lieutenant is the best! He makes me want to join the First Order.
😂 he’s so funny
Saber trainer is amazing! This looks so fun. One day I hope to go here.
🙌
Hope so
Kitra getting psyched up there and turning on the light saber was EPIC 🙌🤟❤️ Love it😃😃
🙌
This was great and looking forward to your March 1st excursion.
🙌
This experience is awesome. I have been going to Disney for years and I have never seen cast members interact with the guests like this.
In Disneyland it’s a bit more interactive like this
@@OrdinaryAdventures Thanks!
Bright suns 🥰. Can’t wait for the video, the begging is so funny 😆😇
Hah
@@OrdinaryAdventures love you guys 💕
I think is worth of living this Awesome Adventure, experience!! Thanks a lot for sharing and let US live it through your EYES! LOVE U BOTH
The first order officers performance was amazing
Agreed. He was so funny
Lt. Croy is now my new favorite Star Wars character.
🙌 so good
you two gave me a new hobby spotting you in other people's videos. JoJo's videos has some nice footage of you and it has a nice shot of the camera you are using
Haha we haven’t had a chance to watch his yet
I know nothing about Star Wars but I love watching these videos. Seeing you guys having a blast makes me so happy.
😁 thank you May
I love this, I’m gonna save my penny’s to take my son to experience the Galactic Starcruiser
Kids will love this
