I took that longtail boat tour last year and it’s really an hidden gem. Really cool ride. I took it from Taling Chan Floating Market, it was a shared one for only 200 baht per person.
When a motorbike driver wearing a helmet… he’s a good driver.

I went on the longtail boat tour over to Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen the other week. Such a cool experience, and can't help but wonder about all the work that went into those canals, and the buildings that line the route.

Hi Chris! The motorcycle taxi guy asked the tuk-tuk driver how much you offered him to go to Wat Pho. Fyi...the lizard you saw in the water that you called a "dragon" is a Monitor Lizard. There are a bunch of them living at Lumpini Park. They are normally harmless unless you mess with them. Monitor lizards are more likely to whip you with their tail than bite you.
