Christine is an AMAZING reviewer!!! She's so meticulous and shares all the details which I absolutely appreciate! I really like the point about the shoulder straps
True! She speaks intelligently and thoroughly covers various aspects of the bag. I like how she shares her opinions. And, she doesn’t sound like a whiny valley girl with a bad case of vocal fry, like some reviewers do.
I recently returned to using Osprey as my primary errand bag. I enjoy so many aspects of the Arcane XL pack, especially the J-Zip, middle compartment, and separate laptop sleeve. As a musician/bus commuter, it’s great to find a bag that’s long enough for my flute, music and laptop, in addition to other supplies like clothing and books. It fits a lot of groceries, too, although the weird straps (& lack of hip belt/chest straps) limit its utility in that area. It’d be a great travel bag, if Osprey fixed the shoulder straps and added a hip belt and chest straps.
I literally had this pack in my cart to purchase, then thought watch a review first and I’m glad I did. Not standing, no water bottle pocket, the thin area at the neck and the long side of the zipper on the opposite side made the decision much easier - it’s a no go. Thanks Pack Hacker! I hope Osprey puts out a newer version soon
Can you guys do a review of the Eddie Bauer Packable Rainfoil Jacket? It’s very affordable so I would love to see a review but can’t seem to find any on UA-cam. Thanks for your time, LOVE THE CONTENT! Has really helped me prepare for my 4 month backpacking trip!
Is the acorn red really that bright? All the images on the osprey website and resellers seem to indicate a much darker shade (I prefer the lighter shade shown in this video!), is that just a weird inaccurate photo on osprey's part? A colour balance issue on your part? Or have you got a different bag/acorn red than shown on the website? Or maybe the dye on the bag is just really weird and depends on the lighting?
Depending on how harsh the lighting is, the color will look different. We have very bright lights in the studio so we can showcase every feature-so this gives the bag a different shade. In darker light, it will have a deeper color. The same can be seen on a sunny day or an overcast day! See the full review for more images: packhacker.com/travel-gear/osprey/arcane-small-day/ -Eric

I like this lady! She's a great communicator and seems like she must be some kind of teacher or trainer :).
Thank you for your kind words 😃 I’ll pass them along!

I’m with you on the J-zip.
Those clips on the straps would also be great to easily hang it off the handle of a stroller. Love the minimalist design
That’s a great idea, Nicola! Which colorway would you go with?

does your back sweat a lot when you wear this?
Is there any small woman backpack just for ipad mini, keys, tissues, (with water bottle holder)?
That's what I'm looking for too. The north face mini borealis fits your description but the water bottle holder is quite small
Great review - much appreciated!
Thanks for watching! 😃

There's a third size, XL
How much could you fit in this bag? Could you fit clothes, books, a file case and a laptop in here?
It’s pretty little, so smaller goods are a better bet!

Review the Osprey Daylite sling.
Thanks for the recommendation 😃 I’ll pass it along!
