I picked these recon glasses up last year from the kore website and they are frigin tough as hell. I can tell you I have never owned a pair of sunglasses like these and I've had Oakley, Wiley, Maui Jims etc. Also lens are steller.
How is it that a belt company makes better sunglasses than Oakley??? They have super nice lenses and are really well made. The magnets are cool too with how you can hang them from your car visor makes me feel smart.
I got these sunglasses when they came out on Kickstarter. I was pretty happy with them initially. They were advertised as almost bulletproof...same as in this review. I had them for a few months and didn't wear them regularly. The plastic frame started to peel and the lens got scratched from me mistakenly dropping them one time on a smooth, hard surface. I'm a busy guy, so I didn't bother reaching out to Kore until recently. They refused to replace them and told me the one-year limited warranty on the sunglasses had expired. If you're going to advertise a pair of sunglasses using words such as "ballistic," they'd better be just as good in the near and long term. These are definitely NOT. Never again will I buy anything from Kore. Crappy customer service and false advertising don't make for a booming business. Buyer beware.

Yeah all form and little function. They look too clunky as well, probably due to the magnets. My RCI's don't scratch, my Revisions don't scratch, my Smiths don't scratch and they're all ansi and mil spec rated. Lens and coating durability is why I will never own another pair of oakleys. I need my sun/safety glasses to be as tough as the things I do in life.
Just ordered some!
I changed out my Wileys and got these and they are better than others they are tougher.

now to put magnets on the side of your ears :) nice review, not a lot of reviews where you see how the glasses look on a wearer
