I think Jason was underrated. He was definitely creepy.

Jason is underrated I would just love to see an alternate version of Scream 6 with Jason and Greg being the killers the whole movie or maybe some sort of prequel showing what these two have done before the events of Scream 6.

Nah, Jason's lines "I just got massive blue balls, I had to practice" and "it was even better than we could have imagined" and how he goes on to describe it all strongly implies Laura was his first kill... I also liked how he's opening the fridge just as Ghostface calls him, almost as if to buy more time before killing him
I think you’re right, I think Laura was the first kill. I can imagine they got up to some really messed up or sadistic crap before her. But she was definitely the first.
I just noticed that Jason's whole look is based on Skeet Ulrich from the original Scream cover (When he had facial hair).
They should have kept it with the audience knowing the killer. I really liked that reveal in the beginning
Seeing the photos on the fridge, I think these guys were making snuff films, because I think it’d make sense. I mean Jill and Charlie recorded theirs too, but it was for the killings, where this doesn’t seem like that. They don’t seem like they want to get something out of it, but it’s for their pleasure. Actually, saying that, they could be based off of Leonard Lake and Charles Ng, because they basically lured women and men to their house, offed the men, and had the woman as slaves until they disposed of them (and sometimes offed the children of these parents); they also recorded what they did, and it’s very creepy. This gives me that vibe and it’s really creepy.
And I think it deals with the theme I think the film has, romanticizing crime/criminals and online detectives trying to solve crimes (as in thinking a killer isn’t actually guilty, because of some bs nonsense).
Unpopular opinion here, but would anyone else love to see beyond the mask tackle other horror franchise in the same manner he’s doing with these current ones? Imagine a camp crystal lake video 😮
Honestly I'm a huge scream fan but welcome that idea because scream videos have been stale without a movie coming out this year 😅

Honestly? Scream 6 should have just stuck with Jason Canvey and Greg and made the movie a "How Catch 'Em" instead of a "Who Done It?". Would've been better.
Didn't Jason think he was talking to his room mate on the phone, detailing the kill he just did and acting like it was the first time?

The only thing I noticed on the fridge before was the Ice Nine Kills flyer/magnet/sticker. Whatever it is. Their last 2 albums are songs based on horror movies. "Your Number's Up" is based on Scream
There was also an Ice Nine Kills poster there too, which was literally the first thing I've noticed the first time I've watched the movie.
No,in my eyes.Why didn't they have greg in the movie with Jason,maybe something small like he was the one who called Laura and Jason was the one to murder her.But they shouldve played around with the three characters to see if there was anything better cause for me i didn't like this element of scream vi cause they unmasked two killers and then less than 10 minutes later there dead. Like I'dve prefered them to have killed Mindy,Chad,Sam or Tara;preferably one of the twins,if not both!

it would’ve been interesting if Laura actually tricked dates in and was a accomplice with Jason but pretended to be a victim that was attacked and a real ghost face take them both out. That would have been interesting

So he was 19 during Scream VI (2023) and is from Atlanta. That means he would've been 14 during the 2018 Atlanta murders from Scream: Resurrection. My headcanon is that he was a Freshman at Weaver High during Beth & Jay's (unrelated) murders. Despite being completely coincidental that they wore the same costume, it lead to him discovering Stab, and he began building an obsession for four years from 2018-2022. When he learned about Richie, he then decided it was his time and started planning his own killings, convincing his best friend Greg to help him.

For me this whole opening was a wasted opportunity. People were saying scream 6 does some rele different fresh things. And when i watched this intro to scream 6 i was very interested thinking it was gunna be a kind of true crime drama following the revealed killer as he navigates around the protagonists. But nope, hes killed by the real killer and its back to a ‘who done it’

Maybe I'm reading too much into it but I thought Jason and Greg were boyfriends because when Jason was talking to Ghostface and still thought it was Greg he referred to him as babe but maybe I'm misremembering it.
I thought there was more to their relationship for sure.

There's been 14 Ghostfaces altogether in the Scream movie franchise and not a single one of them think they go as far in getting away with it the Ghostfaces after Billy and Stu watch the Stab movies they know Ghostface always fails in the end.

The girl in the photo on the fridge looks like the girl in Richie's Recreation home movie Billy and Stu Crime spree at the beginning of the movie

I'll die on the hill stating Jason was the best ghostface in the whole movie and deserved more screentime. Also, how tf did they know Jason and Greg were gonna kill people in the first place? It makes no sense.
