- Texas got a lot of rain at the end of December, and I assumed the catfish would be biting since everything was flooded. Apparently these warmer temperatures had the sand bass running and they were biting! Using a slip cork and jigs to catch these white bass in this muddy moving creek.
New Years Day fishing. Happy New Year!

Nice audible, way to slay them sandies! They sure have good vision in that muddy water, tough to get a Crappie in similar conditions.
I know right! Water was high and rolling and they didnt care at all.
I'm new subscriber, can you share the location? I live in Round Rock Texas close to Austin Texas. Nice place to fish !! Great job !!
Thank you! I'm up in northeast Texas, quite a ways away, but I would try your local creeks or river. They should be starting to heat up down your way too.
You need to look for “the Steps” on the San Gabriel River. It’s famous for the white run.
really like your videos
what rod and reel are you using? keep up the good catches
Thank you! This is a setup from academy called profishiency. Affordable rig and has worked well for me. I did reline it with some 8lb hivis Mr Crappie and has been great.
Would you mind sharing the location? I live in Texas and I live in close to San Antonio I actually live in bulverde. Texas spring branch, Texas in that location.
Ah man I am a good ways from you. I'm up in Northeast Texas near Arkansas and oklahoma.
Find your nearest river and see what creeks flow into it. Those creeks should have them in there.
0:31 location bro good place
Just fishing a creek that feeds into my local river, shocked me that the sandbass were there but I would bet they are moving up into a lot of the other creeks too.
