Hi-Fri Audio in his KZ PR1 Pro video that KZ's 13.2mm planar driver is allegedly customed made for KZ which might explain why you couldn't find any info regarding the driver. Seems like that could be the case because I just did a quick google search for 13.2mm planar driver and every result brings up a KZ or CCA IEM.
Sorry, but creating a decent review requires at least a little bit of preparation. It is advisable to find out a bit about the driver used and not to compare the reviewed IEMs with something that doesn't exist (Simgot has never made a purely planar IEM). Most importantly, it would be useful to prepare some notes so that the sequence of the presentation has some logical order.
@@jubilant_ear_reviews Yeah, they advertised their products to the Moon. Anyway if i may ask, is your PRX unit happen to come with a mesh on the planar driver..? Should be visible.
GM ☕️🍩..KZ …. I’ve had a few in my IEM’s stable in the past ..I don’t have any in my collection anymore as they don’t offer anything special ..but for someone just getting into the hobby they’re a good introduction.
@@carminedesanto6746 You do know they need insane amounts of burn in? 150 hours on average to start sounding good. Better cables, good power, good files, and all that.. Ya, a lot of people just hate KZ. I have expensive planars and my KZ Pr2 (modded) is just as good as any of them. It has its place in my rotation. Classical and jazz mostly.
If you are reviewing it straight out of the box, it's going to sound different after 100-150 hours. Just a fact. I have had several kz planars. Ya the driver is the same as the pr2, just no physical tuning, all electronic with a kind of zobel network

Need some comparisons between other good planars in the market like the PR2, S12, Timeless, etc
I second this: comparisons and conclusions are crucial.
Nowdays kz makes just nice iem because they change their target to safer tuning. Now the crazy treble harshness is gone..lol
thank you for review!
Great review. Are these better than the arti T10?
@@InDueTime25 personally they are good but I like the T10 better
@@jubilant_ear_reviews Thank you so much. Much appreciated

@@andrejtarkovskij3167 There was no documentation at the time for these
I searched the entire internet to find ANY info on the mysterious X driver, there is no information.
@thedude1249 KZ is always so secretive
What are the favorite planers you briefly mentioned if I may ask?
@@GauisHelenaMohaim Hidizs MP145, Letshuoer S12 pro , Simgot EW300, Super mix 4 and Artti T10
i'll wait for KZ PRX Pro X-257
@@faisalfirdausiinn4708 good idea, hopefully it will be as good
@@jubilant_ear_reviews i think KZ will claim it can compete with $2000 planar.

'the treble is nice, you can see these nice screws here'😂 How is this compared to pr2? And the Pr1 Pro, is it still the best one?
If I only use dongle like Abigail to drive it, is it enough power?
@@kikiwonwon29 depends on the dongle, I was using the Tempotec Sonata and questyle M15
so it sound compared to KZ x HBB PR2 it's more balanced and safe?
Is close but i prefer Prx little bit more
hi, do you think the KZ AZ20 earhook would be able to drive the KZ PRX
Meh. Gonna wait for that Castor PRO..
My current Castor's broke... If Castor pro have the mega bass like the Castor bass. I'll get one
what is the broken part?
How does one even break the Castor.
@@SAYTON2 the qdc connector broke.

I have never heard this opinion. Maybe you don't have a proper amp. Planars need tons of power or they just sound like nothing.
@@wahid-lg1kkinteresting..i have several planar IEM’s in my stable…power ain’t an issue.😊
