Just need to clear this up. This is the FIRST time this song was played live, at their album launch and it was the opening song. By the second song the whole venue was chaos! Also, overseas guys, don't give up hope of seeing IHW on your shores in the future. These boys aren't slowing down any time soon!
I'm seeing then on the 24th of this month but I hope the clean vocals sound just as they do on the album, I'm literally going just to see them so I'm hoping for the best. That aside even the screams sounded pretty well and the music, perfect! :)
I do have footage from "Healer" and "Sacred" but I think we are just releasing Earthwalker for now. They are about to tour so there will be more videos going up all over UA-cam :)
whipsy I did but I only asked for permission to release one song! xD These days I usually try to release 2-3 songs per band though so if I catch them again I'll have more for you, and it will be NEW stuff! xD thanks for watchng, enjoy the Sydney show. I'm sure it will go off!
everyone says shit like "shitty/lazy/boring crowd". i just wanted to clarify that the YAC is a pretty small venue and it's pretty hard to go crazy when the place is that packed. i've been there so many times and that's one of the biggest crowds i've seen there. The Ghost Inside concert last year is the only other time i've seen it that full
Wow. When I listened to their songs without knowing how these guys look Ithey were all big muscular men with beards, tattoos and pierciengs. But I saw just surprised me
jonas putseys well you don't have to flop your arms around, what about headbanging, yelling out the lyrics. in my opinion, wasting your money just to stand there isn't really fun, i don't always get in the pit, i sometimes do, but, other times im trying to get to the front so i can get mic grabs and bounce around screaming lyrics
Well try to find no violent dancers at a metalcore concert to start with, these days that will never happen. And I didn't mention not headbanging ofcourse that's the almost obligatory thing to do. I just hate that the whole metal scene is just turning into pitninja's instead of the normal moshpits because you see voilent dancing everywhere nowadays even on concerts that aren't metalcore or hardcore..
i do understand that, that is a fair point, the moshers do piss me off sometimes, because they go to a point where they seem like they are trying to purposely hit someone and make it seem like an accident.
No doubt technically gifted musicians, however if putting on an artificial scream is the evolution of rock, then this is where we part ways. Cue the moronic youtube vitriol
wolvryn100 That might be one element of the evolution of one strain of this style of music but the beauty of evolution is it creates all kinds of amazing new things. Artificial may not be the right word to describe this vocal style either just because it sounds condescending. That's the only reason people will get defensive. When you love a band you focus on all the things you enjoy and don't really consider any of the flaws. I encourage evolution because it leads to new discoveries. We have barely scratched the surface for what's possible for music.

omfg a perfect tour would consist of IHW, PWD, Northlane coming to Canada! I wish :(
Wow. Such nice footage! Do you have anymore from the set? We need them over here in America! Thanks again

For a relatively small band, this is a bloody good live performance; given the small stage and limited equipment compared to huge festival stages.
Never seen a guy rock a mustache better than that guitarist.
it's majestic as fuck ain't it? :')
Oh man this is great, can't wait to see them in Sydney next week. you didnt happen to record anymore of this gig did you?

WhisperRevolution Thanks for the reply and the
awesome footage.

wonder how many takes they needed in the studio to get the laugh just right
The live one is pretty close isn't it
WhisperRevolution thats why i love them aha
How can you go to a concert on In Heats Wake, stand front row with crossed arms and whip a bit up and down? I find that embarassing :D
I'm sorry but that video at the end had me dying
Damn, I expected so much more from a Byron Bay crowd, considering both PWD and IHW come from there. Must be all ages.
how people are not breaking things going crazy during that breakdown is beyond me
second great band that comes from byron bay :D IHW PWD \m/
Wow. When I listened to their songs without knowing how these guys look Ithey were all big muscular men with beards, tattoos and pierciengs. But I saw just surprised me
Ok I gotta admit the crowd was kinda dead. But my friend in the front she was jamin out!
how can the crowd just stand there..
Not everyone likes to flap their arms around in a circle you know..

I swear, One of the guitarists looks like Freddie Mercury with gauges.
How have i never picked this up.
Man, their singer needs to work on his voice a bit...
***** sounds a lot better in person.
+Twat?ICuntHearYou! Which one?
that mosh looks terrible they are not even moshing what is going on
They released the album like the day of that show so no one really knew it.
dude i've been to plenty of gigs where the band is playing a new song and we all still mosh to it? maybe melbourners are just better at everything
It got more hectic later on, especially during songs like Traveller
Yeah man. It was the beginning.
Crowd couldn't be more awkward...
Too bad the crowd is fucking dead
