It is found in nature in the tropical regions of Africa and will attach itself to rocks, driftwood or any other things it can get caught on and spread its roots. This Anubias is a common variant of Anubias Barteri and it can get up to 12 inches in length.

lefty love the Anubias Coffeefolia plants have them in both my 90 gallon discus tanks, they seem to do good with the high temps of 86 degrees. I glued them on pieces of flat slate no substrate in my discus tanks. I do have 22lbs of biohome ultimate in both my eheim 2262 filters these are the big boys, and also have a large sponge filter in both 90's like to over filter and i keep my nitrates 10ppms and below. I do 2-70% water changes per week to achieve these results and these fish breed alot, but i do love all anubias plants.
