what about the hand shift, left hand throttle and advance and retard the spark with the right hand, did you notice the generator is not running it is only there to power the headlight as the bike has a magneto, you turn the motor off by decompressing it with a switch in between the two cams on the right side, if you look at the bike from the right in the beginning of the vid you can see a rod going through the tank down to the switch for doing this. Very hard bike to steal if you don't know how to ride it.
I had a 1942 Harley "45" flat head when I was 14 back in 1955. Wish I still had it.
