That's the security one gets from riding an old bike. Few people are going to have the strength to push it and even fewer people are going to know how to start it.
Looks and sounds SWEET to me!Thanks for posting. No speedo,no tach,no nut'n.(No need!).Borrowing a term from 21 Jump street;Just to be SEEN riding THIS bike around town makes you look like a BADASS!!
Was Scout converted from mag to battery and coil ignition? I fell of the back of a buddy's101 in the 60's, got to my feet and ran to escape oncoming traffic, lost a patch of scalp and probably some brain cells. At 82 getting ready to sell my '48 Chief.
@@nitroboy2 Yup, it hasn't run in ten years, sitting in garage. Located in SoCal near Disneyland. 60's restoration, fg front fender, was daily rider back when, not cheap.
Tractor petcock and sediment bowl.....the orifices in that linkert are almost too big to worry about dirt. Really should fix that nasty miss at road speed
AWESOME man!!! Built in THEFT deterrent right there....most people can't remember to turn on the gas and 50% of the time think the horn prior to starting.
The best thing i love here is when you get to turn some knobs, flip some switch like you're preparing to fly a plane.

Glorious. I'm amazed anyone can get that rolling without checklist in hand!

I love it. The red frame looks so good too.
You have no idea how much I love that!!
Good to see a classic on the road again. 👌
Loved the video! Thanks for sharing.
Getting it running and riding it there IS work !!! 👍

@@garygullikson6349 You're not selling, it's up for adoption!
Super cool bike! Love it!
Just a lovely thing it is. Wonder if it's a loose leaky old Linkert or too much timing in third. Gotta be twisting on that advance all the time.

Lovely ride my friend. Keep ridin her she deserves to be free
Very nice exhaust too 👍 🎶!
Thanks for posting is that one of the new Indians
Man that was awesome!!!
Well done, although I would change the horn bracket
😉
This is how I want my workday to start!
it is not a REMADE FRAME ! iT IS A RE ENGINEERED CUSTOM BUILT FRAME , THAT I WAS DESIGN ING TO FIT THE 40'S ENGINE IN A 20'S DESIGN .
Ur bike is missing bad?
The Bike Was build my me , watch the build of other indian hotrods on my channel .
That's about as much fun as you can have with 20hp.
youll understand when youre older
I'd have to wear some swell gloggles & one of those niffty leather pilots caps like ole Jim'bob Walton.
Bikes like that are what it’s all about.
Sweet, purring like a kitten.
So great machinery
Excruciating listening to a windy video!
Can you do a favor pls. How wide is the straight center line on steering bar....from one side to another....12" ?. (to the angles)
You gotta have deep pockets to ride that. My 1925 Big Chief had to be put up for adoption. Building an old bike is like cocaine, you never finish!
Doesnt matter how old you still spend on them. I would gladly pay the price for admission for this one
I'm curious, it looks like there is Handi on the vehicle tag, and you're driving on the left side of the road. What country are you in?

Baffles? What language is that?
That's so cool
Is that a Hit & Miss engine?Asking for a Freind
Good on ya brother, nothin worse than having to stare at these bikes in a display case. Keep the wheels down. In the wind til the end.
Clear Prop....
She's a rare beauty ❤
❤❤❤❤
The only time an old Indian is firing every time, is when the throttle is wide open! Prove me wrong.
Mantap ❗👊🏻
Wonderful bike.... to stay in a museum...
Get out of here with that talk
love those scouts; all the models. you guys are on the 'wrong' side of the road, so you might as well keep the left side throttle...
I'll swap you for my Royal Enfield! 🤣🤣
Not much 101 to it i can see?
Old bikes are the best and will be around long after new bikes are gone.
Well said.
Spot on

Wow
i am at God-tier jealous with u, sir….🥺😢😩😭
Fantastic, but tune that thing up - runs as rough as guts on the road.
Bick & Sitchin
1940s engine to start with
And this is why fuel injection exists. Fuck all that scrap hard shit.
たまらん めちゃくちゃカッコいい
Do not use this as your getaway bike
Nice. A real Indian not a mass produced fake
Get rid of that horn and put on an original looking one, for F--k sake!
