    One of the best UA-cam videos ever. Love the "Interruption" that was awesome. Wish more videos were this well made. Buying 2.0 Fox for a 2007 Hummer from Shocks Surplus today.

    It's good practice to fully tighten shocks or other suspension once the vehicle is off any jacks/stands and sitting back at it's resting height. Avoids any binding of mounting bushes.
    Just trying to help you avoid another refrigerator type incident. 😜👍🇦🇺

    for the rear droop originally had 22.5 and with fox shocks got 23 1/4 in., he said that was a 1 1/4 in. difference but that only 3/4 in. according to my math, I enjoyed the vid tho thanks man

    Lol wow, "this will fix deathwobble." Please don't give out bad info like that. Death wobble is not fixed by a stabilizer.

      @@LRC247 solid axle steering should not need a stabilizer to be smooth or to prevent a wobble. If you have a shimmy, either parts are loose, worn out, or the geometry is off. Sometimes it's a combination of all that. So alot of the time you see it happen more to modified vehicles that have budget style lift kits without readjusting the suspension and steering geometry to compensate for the new ride height and angles of the suspension system.

    Does it improve on road ride quality? Hoping it takes away the boat feeling(swaying) you get at speed on the highway.

      No, its typically a bit stiffer but does a better job at dampening the bumps.

      I installed these Fox 2.0's recently and noticed my Rancho RS5000X shocks are just as good and not as rough. I'm returning these because I can not justify the $450 cost! Fox shocks are way overrated.

    • @Daronvines
      @Daronvines 2 роки тому +1

      Both of these are subjective replies to what exactly your looking for in a shock. The fox ones are stiffer because they are ment to handle off-road bumps and bangs without bottoming out. With that said if your springs are wore slap out it doesn’t help anything. If your looking for smooth rides on asphalt. Go with soft ride shocks. Going stiffer may mean your wheels stay on the ground increasing control but it also means you feel a lot of what your driving on.
