Very nice video! I liked it alot. The Krazy Mode on the CF7 needs to have the regeneration on low settings for it to be usable and not turn everything into a helicopter glitch type sound that is unusable. With the proper settings the Krazy mode gets you instant John5 tones from the best manson albums. you cant get that insane vibrato tone with anything else. only the krazy mode in the cf7 is capable of that and the original analog vibratos on analog synths from the late 70s that are worth a fortune. very unique pedal.
This is one of the best video reviews I’ve seen of this. I know it’s an sig vst. But everyone was just doing LB stuff. I wanted to see if it wasn’t a one trick pony and you showed it’s got a lot to offer! Do I need a home hub to use this vst or can I buy it stand alone and record with it in Logic Pro?
Stand alone. I ran it as its own thing for monitoring and then reamped my dry guitar through it for mixing but the sound samples were literally sending the audio from the stand alone plugin directly to inputs in my DAW
@@markjohnstonofficial so if I buy it stand alone is there a way I can use it without having to pay for the hub to use it? I’m quite new to all this when it comes to vsts for guitars. So I’m not totally understanding you.
@@follow-the-white-rabbit5015 You don’t need amphub or tonehub for this at all. You just buy this and you’re good. It can be run as a standalone application, or as a plugin inside logic.
I have, I did two reviews on the guitar; a dedicated video to its release (Balaguer Ambient Select Espada” and a video covering the pickups in it (Gunstreet Burnsides)
My son and I have been listening to Wes’s solo stuff quite a bit lately. So creative!
Absolutely amazing review sir! Thank you for going deep Into this and explaining all of the options ! Greatly appreciated. Now I really want it 😂
wonderful jam
Love it! That plugin looks like a ton of fun!
I’ve been using the amphub for months and love it. So stoaked to see they did a Wes Borland collab!
I use STL control hub on basically every mix. I’m really into a lot of what they’re doing these days and this was a real fun one.
Love this channel
Dude has an insane setup with the jazz chorus and diezel head

Underrated guitarist ❤
This rig really caters the indie genre alot, or Midwest emo type shit. 100% getting my greasy hotdog fingers on this 😅

Love that guitar and bass. What brand is it? Have you ever review it on your channel?

@@markjohnstonofficial ah thanks!
I subbed. Love to see guitar and gear reviews with no chugs
Zodiac is legendary and magical.
Can you re-explain how you run this standalone and get the output into Luna?
would like to know this too
you run it through the Audio Units interface
How do you find it differ from Neural DSP?
They looks similar to the interface and sound quality in my opinion
Versatile plugin. Can really get as pretty or ugly as you want.
i sold an old selmer for like 700 bucks. opps.
