- How to get Blood Moon Ursaluna, the Bloodmoon Beast in Pokemon Scarlet Violet DLC Teal Mask. Unlock the Blood Moon Ursaluna, the famed Bloodmoon Beast, is a standalone species in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's Teal Mask DLC. This unique Pokemon doesn't evolve from Ursaring, standing out as its own species. Follow these steps, guided by Perrin's quests, to catch this Ground/Normal-type creature: Collect 150 unique Pokemon in your Kitakami Pokedex. Find Perrin near the Mossui Town Community Center, on the main road's left. Agree when she wants a snapshot of you. Brace yourself for a Pokemon face-off with Perrin, where she brings out her Noctowl and Leafeon. Post-battle, Perrin will share intel on the Bloodmoon Beast. Head to Timeless Woods, situated northeast from Oni Mountain. On foggy nights in Timeless Woods, snap pictures of 10 different Pokemon. Your reward? Blood Moon Ursaluna reveals itself in the Timeless Woods of Kitakami Island, only after you've completed Perrin's photographic challenge under the cloak of foggy night

I love how this was a legends arceus throwback as well as kind of a pokemon snap throwback. I prefer the old ursaluna but this new ursaluna is so cool

Fun fact: although Blood Moon Ursaluna is shiny locked, if you have an ordinary, SHINY Ursaluna, the Pokédex will allow you to see its SHINY form, despite it being shiny locked lol so, while you cant have a shiny one, at least you can see it’s shiny form in the dex entry. The epitome of that meme: “why show it to me if I can’t even have it?”
Ursaluna was already a strong Pokémon but now it looks even stronger and Cooler 😎 in this form

I do love the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet :The Teal Mask DLC but I am disappointed that gamefreak still have released the evolution item for Ursaring to evolved into either Hisuian Ursaluna or Bloodmoon Ursaluna that would be a great for Ursaring to evolved at last.

I was so gagged when I first saw it in my playthrough I just assumed it was gonna be some regular ursaluna and than that thing popped out and I was like Wtf am I looking at. I love it and the dlc was great.
This form has heavy Breath of the Wild vibes.

I thought it was gonna be dark steel because it’s dex entry says that the mud is as hard as steel and it’s blackened eye allows it to see in the dark.

THE URSALUNA LOOKS SICK
It’s amazing this Ursaluna is even still alive you do have to wonder just how exactly did he end up here as it’s not explained exactly how this happened other then he somehow crossed the seas to get there (Pokémon Entries do confirm he is from Hisui/Sinnoh but we don’t know the full story of his journey to Kitakami). Additionally we don’t exactly how this Ursaluna got his unique form other then it having something to do with him managing to survive which does make you wonder what exactly happened that caused this transformation. Also what is especially amazing is that this Ursaluna is possibly the last of his kind in the present day since as far as we know no other Ursaluna exist in the modern day, how he managed to live this long I have no idea, all I know is that it has something to do with his unique form.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. That's why I like Tera Raids, because it lets you catch mons with Pokeballs while not worrying about its catch rate 😂

@@BIG-T93 it is in fact nature locked. it's always hardy nature. but you can soft reset for different i'vs.. i kept resetting until my bloodmoon had 4 perfect iv's while missing attack, as it don't need that stat.

If it were to be it as a regional variant, then Teddiursa and Ursaring should ghost type while Ursaluna should be ground/ghost type
