Hi Andy A nice interesting little village. It was normal back then for a village to he owned by one prosperous family.. The hall looks nice from a distance. I took a cruise on the river awhile back from York.. I do like quirky buildings And historic buildings.. I also love churches the older the better.. Thank you for vlog..
A beautiful village and the folk are so nice and friendly. The school was under threat of closeure, but finally was saved on a few weeks back. The old reading room is now also a shop so that is good for the locals. I've been there many, many times and never get bored of the place. If you ever want a look in the church let me know, I'll see what I can do.
Thumbs up from me on the introduction of the drive-in. Fits with a comment I made on the Long Bennington episode that some longer shots enables the viewer to get a better perspective of a village/town. 👍
The York cycle rally church service is held in the village church cycled through the village enjoyed lunch in the pub you should have walked from the station towards York a little way there is a great bridge & a view of the river

Beautiful village! Brings back lots of memories. Especially from the Blacksmiths Arms! What no allotments!😂
Good to know about the chapel at Naburn Hall which I was not aware of!
I really like the new style thumbnails and video title pages.

I haven't done Long Bennington yet Norman?
@@TheVillageIdiot Sorry, senior moment, make that Coddington 🤪
Definitely Na(y)burn!
Agreed!
In a north Yorkshire episode of the 80s game show, Treasure Hunt, they actually started from Naburn Lock.
