We moved from Pgh [I was raised in PGH] to Erie ad we love it here. It's clean, and the beaches on the lake are beautiful. The people are very nice. Driving is easy people obey the speed limits. There are lots of places to shop and restaurants to go to. We have a beautiful place that would have cost lots more in Pgh. So yes housing is cheaper. We are 2 mins from the lake. It's like being on vacation all year round. Erie has gotten better over the years, I don't know I love it. Thanks for the video Luke, I subscribed and will be watching all your videos.
Erie my hometown, moved to PGH in 2010. My take of Erie then was, nice, room to grow but depressing. Havnt been around since 2013 so I'm sure I missed a lot of development. PGH has gotten a lot more expensive rent wise (I'd say rates near double since 2011)
My gf is Italian, like legit Italian born in Milan, and she went to smugglers wharf and had the crab cakes and the cat fish with old bay seasoning. This girl has been all over the world and had some of the best food in Europe and Asia, her father is Thai and her mom is Italian. And she told me the crab cakes were some of the best she’s ever had and old bay seasoned catfish blew her mind
Getting my building in Erie ready for my move from Tacoma. Can't wait to get my business there. Thanks for the video, I am so excited to get some peace in my life.
That window decal was depicting Oliver Hazard Perry, "The Guy" at the center of Erie's history back in 1813. Careful, don't alert the history nerds that live in Erie, they'll talk your ear off, hah.
I watch a lot of video's like this but the difference is they are all from Russia . Erie looks great , nice , clean , safe . You have said that twice. Yes safe is good and being from a state that has an ocean its very important to have water.
I don’t think so, I would have been fine without one if I was staying in the downtown after, if you are in the outskirts then probably yes 🙏🏽. And if you reach out to visit erie I know they can help you arrange everything 😊🙏🏽
I haven't ridden EMTA in over a decade, but back when I did they weren't too bad. You also have Uber and Lyft, but that's about it since Erie Yellow Cab went out of business years ago. If you want the freedom to go where you want, when you want and not having to plan around the bus schedule or getting picked up, buy an electric bike. Even with the crappy weather here you can still ride it seven or eight months out of the year, and you don't have to get it inspected. 😊
I've lived in Erie all my life. I'm 70 and i still love it here.

My home town ... I visit a couple of times per year to see my sister. Saw some things here in your video I had never noticed before.

Erie is pretty flat all in all so a bike should be sufficient. Especially if your using an ebike
@@user-nd7rd8jo6h i don’t ride bikes
